Welcome to Sleeper Picks! Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight's NBA action. Similar to fantasy sports, the goal in Sleeper Picks is to draft a team of players based on who you think will perform better than the field. But with Sleeper Picks, you pick teams of 2-8 players from multiple teams based on your preferences and predict whether those players will score more or less than a predetermined amount. There are a number of ways to play and a variety of strategies to employ, and we’ll guide you through the process each week.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/28/23)
Season record: 44-25
Scottie Barnes (G/F – TOR): OVER 16.5 points
Scottie Barnes has been struggling with his shot over the past six games. He has shot under .460 in five of six and under .420 in three of them. He averaged only 15.5 points per game during that stretch. The scoring slump has caused his point total to drop from over 20 points back down to the 15.5 area where the value lies. Scottie scored 17 or more just twice in the last six games but has a great matchup tonight against a Brooklyn Nets team relinquishing the most points per game to the small forward position at 25.08 per contest. Form says Less, but the matchup screams More. Barnes should be efficient enough from the field tonight to hit the 17 points needed to click as long as he stays aggressive from the field. Slap the More on Scottie for Tuesday night.
Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): OVER 0.5 double doubles
Domantas has been excellent for the Kings once again this season, averaging 19.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. He has been fantastic in the double double department, recording one in 14 of his 15 games played this season. His consistency has made this total one of the favorites of this column but has also pushed him into line expiration territory. The multiplier dropped to 1.06 by the time of writing and could fall further overnight. Here's the deal: if Sabonis is playing and isn't on a minute restriction, he will be in this column, so tap him as soon as you see him the night before to get the best multiplier possible. Dap the More on Sabonis for Tuesday night’s action.
Alperen Sengun (C – HOU): OVER 20.5 points
Sengun got next. Alperen is part of the emergence of the modern NBA big who can shoot, pass, and defend. He has been tremendous for the Rockets this season, averaging 20.2 points, 9.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. He is beginning to come to terms with just how good he is and validation from some of his favorite players like Paul George is only going to serve to help take his game to the next level. Sengun had recorded 23 or more points in five straight before a nine shot, five foul outing resulted in just 11 points. He bounced back on Friday with 21 points against the Dallas Mavericks. Tonight he faces off against a Dallas Mavericks team surrendering the fourth most points per game to the center position at 24.75 per contest. Slap the More on Sengun for Tuesday night.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
