NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (5/28/24)

Regular season record: 202-130
Playoff record: 41-40

Luka Doncic (G/F – DAL): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)

Luka Doncic has always been an elite player, pretty much since he stepped foot in the NBA, but now the casual NBA fan gets to witness his unique game, competitive drive, and, sometimes, his utter dominance. It has been a joy to watch a team with two 'killers' continue to close against a team like the Timberwolves, who, for all their individual talent, have no closer despite having three established vets and one of the brightest young superstars in the league. Luka has scored 32 or more points in every game of this series, and barring an atrocious shooting night, is a virtual lock for at least another 25 points in this close out game against Minnesota. Dap the More on Doncic for Game 4.

Jaden McDaniels (F – MIN): OVER 9.5 points (alt line)

Jaden showed back up in Game 3, but as we saw in the Boston-Indiana series, if you can't close, you are going to have massive issues when you get deep in the postseason. McDaniels sandwiched his pitiful two point Game 2 performance with 24 in Game 1 and 15 in Game 3. He should be good for at least double figures again tonight, but as we found out the hard way, that is far from a guarantee. Still, it would be a shock if Minnesota does not make a concerted effort to get McDaniels going early in this one, as his ability to space the floor and be a three point threat when Karl Anthony-Towns has all but vanished is going to be critical to the Timberwolves' hopes of staying alive. Jab the More on Jaden for Game 4.

Kyrie Irving (G – DAL): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)

Kyrie at 19.5 points is the type of total dreams are made of. Yes, this is an alt line with a drastically reduced multiplier, but just 20 points in a closeout game. Stop me if you've heard this before, but Kyrie Irving is 14-0 in closeout games and has put up averages of 24 points on 48/40/82 splits. Kyrie has scored at least 20 in each game of this series and should continue to stay aggressive as he looks to complete his promise of leading his teammates to the promised land. Hit the More on Kyrie for Game 4.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
