NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (6/14/24)
Regular season record: 202-130
Playoff record: 49-44
Luka Doncic (G/F – DAL): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)
Luka is going to do everything in his power to try to prevent a sweep tonight, even if it means jacking up 30 shots. Luka has been locked in offensively in this series, but his defensive issues have been magnified when he's in man on Jaylen Brown, who is one win away from Finals MVP honors. Luka has scored at least 27 in all three games of this series and hasn't scored less than that since Game 4 of the Conference Semifinals. Barring a frustration induced ejection, expect another 30+ point effort from Luka, especially if Kyrie Irving can keep his shot falling in this one. Dap the More on the Doncic alt line for Game 4.
Jrue Holiday (G – BOS): OVER 9.5 points (alt line)
Jrue took nine shots in Game 3 but managed just nine points. He has fallen under the 12.5 total twice already in this series, making the alt line hold more appeal. He has cleared the alt number in two of the three games of this series and should be back to double digits tonight with the Mavericks likely to look to do more to help Luka in his matchups with Jaylen Brown. This should lead to increased aggressiveness from the Celtics backcourt duo. Jab the More on Jrue for Game 4.
Derrick White (G – BOS): OVER 9.5 points (alt line)
White has scored 15 or more in each game of this series, making him worth a look at the full total of 15.5, but since he scored 15, 18, and 16, the alt line has a far superior probability that makes it worth the multiplier hit. White will once again be a tertiary option at best but will likely find his shot in the second half when the Mavericks defense tightens up. Hit the More on the White alt line for Game 4.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
