Best NFL Wednesday Night Football Bets: Patriots vs. Seahawks

New England Patriots +3 (-102)
This will not be the most popular selection of all that we recommend. Hear us out though. The Patriots added two major upgrades to the wide receiver position, which should make things much easier on Maye. A.J. Brown is a physical wide receiver who is going to see a ton of targets tonight. After a disappointing year in Philadelphia, Brown once again joins Coach Mike Vrabel, and will no doubt be looking to make a splash in his first game for the Patriots. New England also brought in Romeo Doubs after spending his first four years in Green Bay. This is a much different offense than last season, and one that will want to utilize their new weapons as much as possible.
New England suffered a Super Bowl beat down via the Seahawks, and we should see a much improved and focused Patriots squad tonight. They have had all offseason to figure out what went wrong in February and now they get a shot at redemption. As of now we are missing out on the hook at +3 points. Don't let that deter you though. This could easily be a shootout where a field-goal decides this game by three points or less.
Byron Murphy II 1+ Sack (+228)
If one thing stood out beyond the rest in the Super Bowl, it was the sacks. Seattle brought Drake Maye to the ground on six plays, ultimately sealing fate for the Patriots. It's a new year, but that was an absolute nightmare game for New England, and we expect the Seattle defense to once again relentlessly attack Will Campbell.
Byron Murphy II recorded two sacks against New England in February. The positive return on a player that had that type of success against this line is definitely worth a sprinkling of your bankroll. The young defensive tackle had seven sacks last season, and it wouldn't surprise us in the least if he started right where he left off the last time Seattle took the field.
Both Teams to Make a 33-Yard or Longer Field-Goal (-115)
Our next selection focuses on one aspect that may go overlooked in this contest. Jason Meyers averaged 2.8 field-goal attempted last season, while converting on 85% of attempts. Meyers made a field-goal of at least 33 yards or more in 15-of-17 games last season. Meyers hit five attempts against New England in the Super Bowl, including four from 30 yards or more.
Andres Borregales did not see the type of volume that Meyers was fortunate enough to experience last season. Yet, the kicker for New England drained 8-of-9 attempts from 30-39 yards, with an overall success rate of 84%. Borregales closed out the last year's campaign with a field-goal from 33 yards or more in five out of the last seven regular season games. You can also opt for the total combined field goals in this contest as well at over 3.5 (-110).
Drake Maye Under 25 Rushing Yards (-113)
This is as straight-forward as it gets. The Patriots brought in two wide receivers over the offseason. To make a move on that direction is a direct message that the Patriots would rather have Drake Maye slinging the ball than rushing for first downs. We don't expect the young quarterback to be stationary for the entire game. However, we can see him limited in some capacity compared to last season.
Maye's averages per rush have regressed since his rookie season, and we see that number once again dipping below 4.4 yards in 2026. Seattle held opposing qb's to 3.7 yards per carry last season. Quarterbacks averaged 13.1 rushing yards against Seattle on 2.8 attempts per game. If Maye can stay under six attempts, we should easily cash this bet. The line of 25+ is based on the numbers last season, and seem a tad ambitious considering the opponent.
