NFL Week 16 Teaser Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

Josh Allen Bills

One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser allows you to buy points like 6, 6.5, or 7 in a direction that lowers risk.

Teaser Tips to Follow

  • Never Cross over 0
  • Tease through two key numbers, ideally 3 & 7.
  • Tease games with lower totals, ideally anything 49 or less.

Below are three teaser options for Week 16, along with my Best Bet.

Week 16 Teaser Options

Buffalo Bills from -12.5 to -6.5 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Bills have found their mojo once again. Since firing OC Ken Dorsey, the Bills are 3-1 and have returned to the playoff race. Not only are they looking to lock up a playoff spot, but they have a realistic shot at winning their division.

The Bills have all the momentum while the Chargers are fading away as they lost Justin Herbert for the season two weeks ago, and then after an embarrassing loss last week, fired their GM and HC.

Indianapolis Colts from +2.5 to +8.5 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Earlier this week, the Atlanta Falcons announced that Taylor Heinicke will be the starting quarterback for the rest of the season. Will it be an upgrade of Ridder? Probably, but not by much.

As I have mentioned in previous weeks, of the Falcons’ wins, only two have come by more than eight points (Panthers, Saints). This team is incapable of blowing out opposing teams.

The Colts are in the middle of the AFC playoff racing, sitting at 8-6 and tied with four other teams for the 7th seed. This is a game they need and want. They will have all the motivation in the world to keep this game close.

Denver Broncos from -7 to -1 vs. New England Patriots

Despite starting the season 1-5 and currently sitting at 7-7, the Broncos have a shot at making the playoffs.

Despite the Patriots being 3-11, they still own one of the better defenses in the league. With the Broncos being limited on offense at times, I can’t see them covering a touchdown spread. But teasing this down to one, all we really need is an outright win.

Denver’s’ defense needs to be the difference-maker in this game for them to win.

The Patriots’ offensive line has been hit hard with injuries. We saw how badly Bailey Zappe played last week after he lost two of his starting offensive linemen. After the injuries there, he never had a clean pocket, had to hurry his throws, and ultimately threw an INT and fumbled once.

With Denver having the rest advantage and playing at home, the Broncos should dominate this game.
