Travis Kelce (-130 DraftKings)
After failing to find the endzone in week 2 against the Charges, I think Kelce finds his way back in week 3 against the Colts. Indianapolis has allowed the 5th most receptions and a league-high 85.7% catch rate to opposing tight ends.
With the total at 50,5 points, bookmakers expect this to be a high-scoring affair despite the Colts’ offense’s struggles. If this turns out to be accurate, you know Mahomes will rely on Kelce early and often.
Jaylen Waddle (+145 DraftKings)
Both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle rank inside the top 10 in targets among wide receivers. Regarding red zone targets, Waddle leads the team with four, which resulted in two touchdowns receptions.
Again, bookmakers expect an offensive show as the total sits at 53 points, the highest in week 3.
Buffalo’s secondary is thin, Tre’Davious White is still out with an injury, and now their Pro-Bowl safety Micah Hyde will miss Sunday’s game due to an injury. That leaves two rookie cornerbacks and a banged-up Jordan Poyer with the tall task of stopping both Waddle and Hill.
Tee Higgins (+140 DraftKings)
Ja’Marr Chase is the Clear #1 WR in Cincinnati, but Higgins offers much value here. Chase has six red zone targets compared to Higgins 2, but Chase has caught both, including one for a touchdown.
The Jets rank dead last in Pass Defense DVOA and 31st in Pass DVOA against #2 WRs, according to Football Outsiders.
Davante Adams (+100 DraftKings)
Despite only having two catches for 12 yards in week 2, he was targeted seven times and found the endzone early on in the first quarter.
Adams has seen the sixth-most targets among wide receivers with 24 and the fifth-ost red zone targets with five.
Adams and the Raiders face the Tennessee Titans in week 3. The Titans have given up four touchdowns to opposing receivers, the second most in the NFL.
