NFL Week 7 Anytime TD Scorers: Panthers vs. Commanders (2024)

Last week was a rough one for my anytime touchdown bets. I only hit three. On the bright side, two of the three had multiple touchdowns. And I hate to be that guy, but at least two other picks had touchdowns called back. But you are what your record says you are, and I have now had two losing weeks in a row. Let's get back on track with my anytime touchdown and first touchdown bets for Week 7.

As always, I am tracking these using bet sizes of 0.4 units on anytime touchdowns and 0.1 units on first touchdowns. Use your discretion and adjust as you see fit. We compare anytime touchdown stats to prop bet odds and projections to help identify this week's best bets. Here are all of our NFL Week 7 anytime TD scorer picks. Below we dive into our top NFL Week 7 anytime TD scorer pick for Panthers vs. Commanders.

Panthers vs. Commanders

Brian Robinson Jr.

Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. missed last week's showdown with the Baltimore Ravens due to a knee injury. Robinson Jr. has participated in all three documented practices this week, albeit in a limited fashion. Still, I expect him to play on Sunday when Washington hosts the Carolina Panthers. Carolina has allowed 13 touchdowns to opposing running backs this season. No other NFL team has allowed more than nine. The Panthers have allowed nine touchdown runs from inside the 5-yard line this year. I give Robinson Jr. the slight edge over quarterback Jayden Daniels. But I would not blame anyone who wanted to take the electric rookie quarterback instead. Even if Robinson Jr. is not quite at 100%, this matchup is more than favorable enough to make him a solid anytime touchdown and first touchdown candidate.
