Underdogs had a rough go of it in Week 6, but have still won outright in over 30% of games this season. What should that tell bettors as we head into Week 7? Don't start overlooking underdogs. At 31.5%, they are above the usual 25-27% win rate.
With that in mind, let's take a look at the best NFL Week 7 underdog bets below.

Best NFL Week 7 Underdog Bets
Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray returned to practice on Wednesday as a limited participant as he continues to work his way back from a foot injury. However, the offense performed well last week against a good Colts defense with Jacoby Brissett behind center. That could prompt the Cardinals to give Murray more time to heal and get closer to 100%, while giving Brissett another start.
Green Bay has been anything but consistent since opening the season with wins over Detroit and Washington. They lost to Cleveland, tied the Cowboys and did enough to beat the Bengals (but certainly didn't look impressive on either side of the ball). The Cardinals team that lost a close one to Indianapolis last week could cover the spread, if not win outright.
Pick: Cardinals +6.5 (-105 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Indianapolis Colts vs. Los Angeles Chargers
It is good to see that bettors are at least starting to give Daniel Jones and the Colts a little respect. The line opened with the Chargers favored by six, but the spread has since shifted to 1.5 to 2.0 points depending on the sportsbook, with L.A. still favored. Rediscovering the run game with Kimani Vidal carrying the ball gave new life to the Chargers’ offense last week.
However, L.A. still needed a late drive to get in position for a game-winning field goal against a poor Miami team.
Jonathan Taylor is running well, averaging over 100 yards per game. Jones has done a great job of managing the offense and making plays when needed. If the game were in Indianapolis, I bet the Colts would be the favorite. It will be a good game, but this is one that the Colts should win.
Pick: Colts Moneyline (+110 at Fanatics Sportsbook)
Atlanta Falcons vs. San Francisco 49ers
I have not been on the Falcons’ bandwagon up until now, but make room, because I'm jumping on board. Bijan Robinson is on pace for a record-setting year for yards from scrimmage. With defenses more concerned about Robinson, Michael Penix Jr. has started to thrive while facing less pressure.
That defense. Poor Josh Allen was just running for his life all night last week against the Falcons.
Whether it's Mac Jones or Brock Purdy, the 49ers have become this season's one-score magicians with four out of five games decided by less than a touchdown and wins in three of those games. But I don't think this defense, along with Robinson, will let the 49ers stay within striking distance.
Pick: Falcons Moneyline (+115 at Fanatics Sportsbook)
