Buffalo Sabres (+186) @ Edmonton Oilers (-186)
Maybe… Maybe losing 1-0 to the Wild last week kicked Edmonton into that run they get on seemingly every year, where they rattle off a bunch of wins and start scoring 4+ goals a game. (They’ve scored 15 goals in the two games since.) While that “maybe” is yet to be determined, tonight they get the Sabres at home. Playing Buffalo at home is the cure for most ails in the NHL, and Edmonton gets them on the second night of a back-to-back after losing 7-4 last night in Calgary. The Sabres now have a -25 goal differential on the road; the Oilers average 3.83 goals per game at home. On paper, this game should be lopsided, plus the Hockey Betting Golden Rule* is in effect.
Pick: *Bet the OVER (6.5) in Edmonton (-106)
Pick: Oilers -1.5 (+126)
Macklin Celebrini + Travis Konecny Point Parlay (+100)
These two guys have been pretty reliable in grabbing a point this season. Celebrini has hit in 22 out of 30 games, while Konecny has one in 18 of 27, including six points in his last four. Neither team boasts a superior defense, so they should both collect one again tonight. Put them together to double your money.
Darren Raddysh Over 0.5 Assists (+135)
The top play on our Prop Bet Cheat Sheet tonight is the Tampa Bay defenseman to pick up an assist in the Lightning’s game against the Canadiens. Tampa was shut out in last night’s game in Toronto, and it’s a safe bet that a Top 10 offense will bounce back against Montreal and its defense that allows the third-most goals per game. Raddysh is having a sneaky-good season and has picked up a helper in eight of his last 12 games. Let’s ride with him tonight.
