We have a great two-game slate of playoff hockey to bet on tonight, and I think Matthew Tkachuk will exact some revenge for the Panthers’ blowout loss in Game 1.

Best NHL Plus-Money Player Prop Bets
POTD: Matthew Tkachuk 2+ Points (+215 FanDuel)
The Bruins came out of the gate throwing haymakers in Game 1 and shocked the Panthers (and the rest of us) with a 5-1 win. I don’t see it happening again, though admittedly, I didn’t see it happening the first time. Florida should arrive tonight with an intensity of its own that will put a lot of pressure on Boston’s defense and Jeremy Swayman. (Speaking of – he had 38 saves in Game 1, and his line for Game 2 is 30.5. I’d still take the over.) In order for the Panthers to take control of this one, Matthew Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov Jr. will both need solid games. The two combined for Florida’s lone goal two days ago, and I like both of them to pick up two points tonight with my preference being Tkachuk.
Plus-Money Paired-Point Parlay: Evan Bouchard & Quinn Hughes (+154 DraftKings)
The top defenseman for each team will be paramount to playoff success in Round 2. Bouchard racked up nine points in five games in Round 1, while Hughes tallied eight points in four regular-season games against the Oilers. I like the plus-money odds that each will have success in Game 1 tonight.
