Even though I am less than thrilled to continue having to bet on Dallas, I see some good options in what should be a higher-scoring affair, including surprising numbers from Tyler Seguin.

Best NHL Plus-Money Player Prop Bets
POTD: Tyler Seguin Over 2.5 SOG (+135 DraftKings) & Anytime Goal (+350 FanDuel)
Seguin’s line for shots on goal continues to be plus money to get three, which is interesting since he missed this mark only once in the Stars’ first-round series against the Golden Knights. I was going to stop with that, but upon investigation, I’m going to put a half unit on his anytime goal, too. Seguin scored two goals in every game that Dallas played against Colorado this season, taking 11 shots across the three games. Might as well follow the pattern for Game 1.
Plus-Money Paired-Point Parlay: Cale Makar & Wyatt Johnston (+138 DraftKings)
Dallas’s Round 1 hero, Wyatt Johnston, should stay hot in the first game of this series. He had three points the last time these two teams met in early April and has become an integral part of the Stars’ offense. Cale Makar had six points across Colorado’s four regular-season games against Dallas this year. To say he is the straw that stirs the Avalanche drink is probably an understatement. His 2+ points line is +200 on FanDuel and is also worth a look.
