The 2025 Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) has five total games on the slate for Friday night.
In the early window, we have three games on tap at 7:30 p.m. ET with the Washington Mystics battling the Indiana Fever at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Golden State Valkyries and Chicago Sky tangle at Wintrust Arena, and the Los Angeles Sparks and Dallas Wings meet in Arlington. In the 10 p.m. ET window, the Seattle Storm and Atlanta Dream meet in Vancouver, B.C., while the Las Vegas Aces and Phoenix Mercury square off at PHX Arena. Los Angeles Sparks (-188) at Dallas Wings (+152) | O/U 177.5 (-110/-110)
The Sparks (15-17) and the Wings (9-24) meet at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas at 7:30 p.m. ET on ION.
These teams are meeting for the second time this season. In the first meeting on June 6, the Sparks posted a 93-79 victory as 3-point favorites while the Under (174) cashed. L.A. has won three of the past four meetings outright, while covering four in a row, with a 7-2 against the spread (ATS) mark across the previous nine in the series.
Los Angeles is going to be battling down the stretch for a playoff spot, and it cannot get tripped up against the dregs of the league, for which Dallas certainly qualifies. The Wings are 9-24 SU with a -4.9 point differential on the season, and Dallas is just 5-12 at home. It has allowed 86.5 points per game (PPG), which ranks 12th in The W.
The Sparks are coming off a 105-97 loss at home against the defending champ New York Liberty last time out on Tuesday, but they’re still a solid 4-2 SU/ATS in the past six games, while going 9-3 SU in the previous 12 outings, with a 8-3 ATS mark across the past 11 contests. The Over is 5-1 in the past six games, too, while going 12-2 in the previous 14 outings.
For the Wings, they’re coming off an 81-80 road win at Indiana on Tuesday night, winning outright as a 9.5-point underdog, while going 3-1 ATS in the past four games, and 5-2 ATS across the previous seven contests. The Under is 4-1 in the past five games for Dallas, too.
The offense has really struggled for the Wings lately, going for 81 or fewer points in each of the past five games. They have allowed 80 or more points in nine straight games. As an underdog of eight or more points, the Wings are 4-0 ATS in the past four. However, when favored, or an underdog of six or fewer points, Dallas is just 1-6 ATS in the past seven such instances.
Let’s back Los Angeles to lay the points, and we’ll roll with the Over, as the Sparks are playing good basketball, and the Wings don’t offer much resistance.
