    Texas Rangers (+158) at New York Yankees (-188) | O/U 8.5 (-108/-112

The Rangers (16-19) take on the Yankees (25-11) at 7:05 p.m. ET, and the game can be viewed on MLB Network, as well as streamed on Amazon’s Prime Video. Texas suffered a 7-4 loss on Tuesday in the series opener despite the presence of RHP Jacob deGrom. It was the third straight loss for Texas, and it has managed just six runs in the span. Across the past 10 games, the Rangers are averaging just 2.4 runs per game (RPG). The Under is 7-2 in the past nine outings.

Texas rolls out RHP Nathan Eovaldi, who pitched for the Yankees in 2015 and 2016. He allowed just four hits and a walk across seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts in a 3-0 win last Wednesday against the Yankees.

The Yankees counter with RHP Will Warren, who is 4-0 with a 2.39 ERA and 1.06 WHIP across 37.2 IP in seven starts. He has allowed two or fewer runs in each of those outings, too. He did not face the Rangers in the first series of the season.

Let’s back the Rangers on the run line with Eovaldi, and we’ll go low on the total in what should be a pitchers' duel. Be careful, though, as the Over has cashed in five in a row for the Yankees. However, the Under cashed in all three meetings with the Rangers April 27-29, with both teams scoring seven runs in the series, or 2.3 RPG each.

    Picks: Rangers +1.5 Runs (-130) & Under 8.5 Runs (-112)

    New York Mets (-166) at Colorado Rockies (+140) | O/U 9.5 (-114/-106

The Mets (13-22) and Rockies (14-22) meet in Denver for what turns out to be the second of a three-game set. Tuesday’s game was snowed out, so instead of Wednesday afternoon baseball, and a series finale, this is Game 2, with a Thursday game scheduled for 3:10 p.m. ET.

There is actually snow in the forecast up to around 11 a.m. MT in Denver, and temperatures at first pitch will be around 40 degrees with clear skies and a wind of 5-7 MPH.

The Mets have gotten well on the road, winning three of the first four games, including a 4-2 win Monday in the series opener. The Under has cashed in four in a row, with the pitching allowing just 10 runs, or 2.5 RPG, on the trip so far. The Under is 7-2-1 in the past 10 games, too.

For the Rockies, they’ve dropped five in row, and they were likely thankful for the snowstorm on the Front Range. The offense hasn’t been terrible lately, averaging 3.8 RPG in the five-game skid, but they’ve allowed 7.6 RPG in the skid. The Over is 6-1 in the past seven games.

RHP Michael Lorenzen pitches for the Rockies, and he is 2-3 with a 6.09 ERA and 1.76 WHIP this season. He’s even worse at Coors Field, going 1-1 with an 8.56 ERA and .394 opponent batting average in 13.2 IP across three starts. Let’s bank on the Mets to get the job done, and we’ll go high on the total.

    Picks: Mets Moneyline (-166) & Over 9.5 Runs (-114)

    Pittsburgh Pirates (-158) at Arizona Diamondbacks (+134) | O/U 8 (-115/-105

The Pirates (19-17) and Diamondbacks (17-17) meet at Chase Field in Phoenix, and it’s Paul Skenes Day!

Arizona won 9-0 in the series opener, cashing as moderate favorites (-134) as the total pushed (9). The Diamondbacks were up just 2-0 heading to the bottom of the sixth inning before breaking it wide open with five runs, and another two in the eighth.

Pittsburgh has still won three of the past four games, and the Pirates are 7-4 in the past 11 road outings. As mentioned, Skenes is on the bump, and the Pirates are 4-2 in his past six outings.

Arizona snapped a four-game skid with the rout in Tuesday’s series opener, as the total pushed. The Over is 3-1-1 in the past five games, and 5-2-1 across the previous eight outings.

Let’s back Skenes to get the job done for the Pirates, and we’ll go Over on the total.

    Picks: Pirates Moneyline (-158) & Over 8 Runs (-115)
