(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Courtney Williams Over 6.5 Assists (+116)

We open our selections with an assists total on the edge of being too low given previous matchups between the two teams on the season. Williams has been sensational for the Lynx in lieu of Napheesa Collier missing time with an ankle injury. While the assist totals have not consistently exceeded 6.5 post All-Star break, when the opponent is the Liberty, the fiery guard out of South Florida has made a habit out of finishing with seven or more this season.
Williams has dished out 20 assists over the last two contests played against New York on the season, including seven in the most recent matchup on August 10. The Minnesota guard has recorded seven assists or more in five out of the last eight games played. Williams finished with 13 assists in 33 minutes of court time in the first meeting between the two teams on July 30.
The taste of losing to the Liberty in the 2024 Finals is clearly still sour for the Lynx guard. Williams only needed 25 minutes of playing time to accumulate seven assists on August 10. It stands to reason the veteran guard should incur a much more bountiful allotment of time on the court this afternoon. The Liberty have not been able to impede Williams from totaling more than seven assists this season, and we feel she continues that trend at home today in Minnesota.

Jonquel Jones 2+ Three-Pointers (+108)

As previously stated, the Liberty will once again need scoring from any and everyone in this contest against the Lynx, due to being without Breanna Stewart. This creates a massive opportunity for the eighth-year veteran who has already been knocking down a few extra shots from beyond the arc as of late.
The opponent certainly weighs heavily into this line, and rightfully so. Minnesota held Jonquel Jones to only seven shot attempts on August 10, including 0-for-1 from deep. However, the forward for the Liberty was masterful from beyond the perimeter in the first meeting against the Lynx, where she was perfect on two attempts.
Jones has recorded at least two baskets or more from beyond the perimeter in 7-of-12 games. The New York forward has also made at least two shots from deep in three out of the last five games played, with 11 three-pointers. while shooting 48% from deep over that span.

Emma Meesseman Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118)

Emma Meesseman has been playing at an extremely high level as of late, so this recommendation is right on par with her current form. New York has to heavily rely on the scoring and rebounding services of their mid-season acquisition, with the aforementioned injury to Breanna Stewart.
Since joining the team, Meesseman has not scored fewer than 10 points in any contest, and is currently averaging 16.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. Despite those extremely solid numbers, the 32-year old has increased those totals to 24 points on 56.6% shooting, 9.5 boards, and 3.5 assists in the previous two contests.
The center for the Liberty is averaging 17.2 points, with seven boards and four assists over the last five games. Messeman has been the main scoring presence for the Liberty as of late, putting up 48 points over the last two contests. The veteran scorer looks to be in a prime spot to finish with a total of at least 23.5 points, rebounds and assists

Kayla McBride 15+ Points (-122)

The 11th-year veteran out of Notre Dame has assumed a much more prominent offensive role recently derived from a serious need for scoring without their top option, Napheesa Collier still out with injury. Kayla McBuckets has recorded 15 points or more in eight out of twelve games, and has scored at least 18 points or more in three-of-five contests.
The guard for Minnesota is connecting on 50% of attempts from the field over the last 10 games, while scoring 18.2 points each contest. McBride is averaging 14.8 points on 10.9 attempts on the season. In the last ten contests, the attempts have increased to 16.2 points out of 11.3 shots.
The guard for the Lynx is averaging 21.0 points in the two matchups against New York this season, while shooting no less than 50% from the field. McBride scored 18 points in the last contest against the Liberty on August 10, and is in a great situation to score at least 15 points once again tonight.

Kayla McBride 3+ Three-Pointers (-122)

Kayla McBride has connected on at least three three-pointers in 6-of-10 games. The Minnesota guard has also hit 24 three-pointers in the last eight games, and 13 over the previous four contests.
McBride has been displaying somewhat erratic shooting pattern as of late. Having said that, the veteran is still knocking down 50% of attempts over the last four contests. The sharp-shooting guard has combined for nine three-pointers on the season when playing the Liberty, on 56% from beyond the arc.
The Liberty are allowing 8.1 baskets from beyond the perimeter over the last 10 games. However, the Lynx have hit 25 deep shots against New York in the two matchups this season. McBride has successfully made at least three baskets from beyond the key, and we feel she makes it three in a row this afternoon.
