    Miami Marlins (+136) at Toronto Blue Jays (-162) | O/U 7.5 (-115/-105

The Marlins (26-30) meet the Blue Jays (26-29) at Rogers Centre in the interleague series finale, and it’s the rubber game of the set.

Miami picked up an 8-2 win in the series opener as a light underdog (+115) while the Over (7.5) cashed, but Toronto returned the favor with an 8-1 rout behind five pitchers. The Blue Jays collected 12 hits on Tuesday, driving in eight runs, while belting four extra-base hits, including three homers. RF Jesus Sanchez was the big bat with a 2-for-4 night, including a double, home, and four RBI. He was one of five players to drive in at least one run.

The Marlins turn to RHP Eury Perez (3-6, 4.91 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) in the series finale. He is a dismal 0-4 with a 7.03 ERA in 24.1 IP on the road across five starts, surrendering six homers. That’s great news for the Blue Jays at home. Toronto counters with RHP Kevin Gausman (4-3, 3.23 ERA, 1.05 WHIP), and he had managed just a 2-2 record at home, but he also has just three walks allowed with 42 strikeouts in 35.1 IP at Rogers Centre across six starts. Let’s back Toronto, and we’ll go with the run line, while going high on the total based on Perez’s giving ways.

    Picks: Blue Jays -1.5 (+134) & Over 7.5 Runs (-115)

    Washington Nationals (+154) at Cleveland Guardians (-184) | O/U 8.0 (-105/-115

The Nationals (29-27) and the Guardians (32-25) meet at Progressive Field in Cleveland at 1:10 p.m. ET, and Washington has been a rude house guest so far, winning the first two in the series. Cleveland turns to RHP Gavin Williams to stop the slide for the first-place Guardians.

The Guardians need to jump all over RHP Miles Mikolas (1-3, 6.17 ERA, 1.39 WHIP), who has uneven numbers this season, although most of his trouble has been in the nation’s capital. He is slightly better on the road at 0-1 with a 4.81 ERA. However, he is also 0-3 with an 8.31 ERA (26 IP, 24 ER, 8 HR) in four day starts and two relief appearances under the sun.

For Williams (7-3, 3.25 ERA, 1.11 WHIP), he has been the stopper for the Guardians pitching staff this season. He twirled eight scoreless innings in a 1-0 win at Philadelphia on Friday in his most recent start, and he has lasted at least six innings in seven consecutive games. He has won his past two starts, both against National League foes, allowing just two runs with no walks and 18 strikeouts. Williams is 4-0 in four starts against NL teams, too.

Let’s back the Guardians to salvage the interleague series, and we’ll go high on the totals based on Mikolas’ inability to keep the ball in the yard.

    Picks: Guardians -1.5 (+116) & Over 8.0 Runs (-105)

    New York Yankees (-156) at Kansas City Royals (+132) | O/U 9 (-110/-110

The Yankees (33-22) and Royals (22-33) battle at Kauffman Stadium in the series finale, and Kansas City is looking to not only avoid the sweep in this series, but the Royals are looking to snap a 12-game regular-season losing streak to the Yankees. Kansas City last topped New York in the regular season 5-0 on Sept. 10 in The Bronx, and the Royals last won at home on June 13, 2024.

New York crushed Kansas City 15-1 on Tuesday night behind LHP Cam Schlittler, as the offense pounded out 24 hits, including multi-hit efforts by nine different players. Five different guys had at least three hits, while 3B Amed Rosario collected four hits, including two homers, with four RBI and three runs scored. DH Ben Rice was 3-for-5 with a double, a walk, an RBI, and three runs scored, too.

Yankees RHP Gerrit Cole made his season debut last time out against Tampa Bay on Friday, allowing just two hits and three walks in six scoreless innings in a no-decision. He was limited to 72 pitches in the debut, but he should get a little more leash this time around.

Royals LHP Noah Cameron, a Missouri native, is just 2-3 with a 4.72 ERA and 1.45 WHIP, while going 2-0 with a 4.05 ERA at home. Still, based on the sheer dominance of the Yankees in this series, we have to take the visitors to complete the sweep, and let’s go high on the total.

    Picks: Yankees Moneyline (-156) & Over 9 Runs (-110)
