Let’s check out a few more top player prop bets for Tuesday’s games.
Jameson Taillon: o4.5 K’s -122
Taillon averages 4.6 strikeouts per start this year which is right in line with his K prop today. The Pirates posted an 11% swinging strike rate over the last 14 days and opposing starting pitchers have gone over 4.5 K’s in three straight games.
Kyle Schwarber: To hit a HR +210
You could honestly take a few players from the Phillies lineup and feel confident. I like Schwarber to break out of his early July slump tonight. The Nationals are starting Paolo Espino who owns an awful 4.26 Siera and a high Hard-Contact % at 36%. Schwarber hit 12 home runs in the month of June, while Espino has given up 4 home runs over his last 3 starts.
Trea Turner: Record 2+ Hits +135
In a small sample size, Turner has a .400 batting average including 2 doubles against Rockies starter German Marquez. Turner has started off the month of July hot, batting .438 in four games. In those 4 games, he has recorded at least 2 hits in half of them.
Sandy Alcantara: u5.5 Hits -118
Sandy Alcantara has proven to be one of the best pitchers in baseball, owning an 8-3 record with a 1.95 ERA (3rd best in MLB). At home, Alcantara is 4-2 with a 1.80 ERA and holding opponents to a .192 batting average. Despite having Trout and Ohtani in the lineup, Sandy should have no problem carving up this lineup as the Angels have the highest strikeout rate in the league.
Luis Garcia: u5.5 K’s +104
Luis Garcia is much worse at home. Garcia owns a 4.70 ERA at home compared to 2.37 on the road. In the same amount of starts Garcia has also given up twice as many earned runs at home compared to on the road. While the Royals are lighting up the scoreboard this season, they don’t strike out very often, owning the 5th best strikeout rate in the majors. Garcia faced this same Royals team last month and only struck out 2 batters in seven innings pitched.
Jose Abreu: Record 1 + RBI +120
Jose Abreu has had a quiet season so far, .290 batting average with 10 home runs and 37 RBI. But his bat has started to heat up in the month of June, batting .348 with 3 home runs and 15 RBI. Abreu has at least one RBI in 2 of the 4 games he has played against Minnesota this year.
