They now face a Giants team that has won four consecutive games and is coming off a three-game sweep of the Dodgers for the first time since 2016. Kansas City has lost five straight road games and is 0-4 in its last four interleague games against right-handed starters. They face Giants ace Logan Webb (5-2, 3.77), who has pitched to a 3.28 ERA at home and has allowed earned runs in 17.2 home innings against teams with a losing record. Conversely, Kansas City’s Kris Bubic (0-3, 9.13) has been one of the league’s worst starters this year, and San Francisco has won six of its last seven games against southpaws.
