Saturday's Best NHL Bets

Last: 1-1| Postseason: 7-5 | Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook

Carolina Hurricanes (-192) vs. Philadelphia Flyers (+160) | O/U 5.5 (+120/-142)

All three games of this series so far have gone under this number. Even Game 2's OT only totaled five goals. In fact, Carolina is 7-1 to the Under in these Stanley Cup Playoffs. They are also 10-1 to the Under since April 11.

Carolina goalie Frederik Andersen has allowed just three goals while making 71 saves (.959), including posting a shutout in Game 1. He’s been standing on his head all postseason, and to expect anything less would be uncivilized.

This number is finally getting juiced in Carolina's eighth playoff game. Take advantage of the Under one lost time because this series is all but over. The Canes will return to Raleigh alone.

Pick: Under 5.5 Total Goals (-142)

Colorado Avalanche (-125) vs. Minnesota Wild (+110) | O/U 6.5 (+110/-130

Colorado has averaged 7.0 goals in this series, netting nine in a 15 total goal Game 1 in Denver. It goes without saying that the Avs have covered this number in both games. They have also cashed this team total in four straight games dating back to Game 3 against the Kings. Additionally, they are 2-0 on the road against this number this postseason.

On top of all that, we are talking plus-value in the NHL's top scoring offense that averaged 4.5 goals per game, a number they have maintained through the first six games of these playoffs. Neither side has shown much of a propensity for defense so far, but the Avs have shown slightly more in both departments, so let’s back them to hit a number a full goal below their average.

Skate, don't walk to grab those odds!

Pick: Avalanche Over 3.5 Team Goals (+115
