Best UFL Week 6 PrizePicks Player Projections
Here are Sunday’s best UFL Week 6 PrizePicks plays.
Danny Etling UNDER 204.5 Passing Yards
The Panthers don’t relentlessly fling the ball around the field. According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), they’ve dropped back to pass 126 times and attempted 91 rushes by their non-quarterbacks. The Panthers have topped 30 dropbacks only once, dropping back 45 times in a 20-13 loss to the Stallions in Week 2. They’ve averaged 30.4 dropbacks per game with a median of 27.

E.J. Perry passed for 208 yards in Week 3, the only time a Michigan quarterback had over 204.5 passing yards in a game this season. They’ve passed as a team for more than 182 yards only twice, doing so in Week 2 and Week 3. Meanwhile, the Renegades have held the leading passer for their opponents under 195 passing yards in three straight contests, and A.J. McCarron’s 248 passing yards in Week 2 were the only instance of a quarterback exceeding 204.5 passing yards against Arlington this season. In the first five weeks of the season, the leading passers against Arlington have averaged 198.4 passing yards per game, with a median of 191.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Panthers are 5.0-point favorites against the winless visiting Renegades. Etling likely won’t have to carry the load, making his under an appealing selection.
Tyler Vaughns UNDER 50.5 Receiving Yards
Tyler Vaughns is unquestionably Arlington’s leading pass-catching weapon. He leads the team in routes (161), targets (39) and receptions (23) and is second in receiving yards (239). Regardless, Vaughns has bested 50.5 receiving yards just twice in five contests. He’s averaged 47.8 receiving yards per game with a median of 45.
Additionally, Vaughns has had 12 and 45 receiving yards in the previous two weeks after tallying a season-high 109 against the Defenders in Week 3. Finally, while Vaughns is active for today’s game, he didn’t practice Wednesday because of a hamstring injury.
#UFL Injury Report: May 1st, 2024. Notable Injuries:
Battlehawks O-Line is banged up, which is not ideal. Gonzalez, Alexander, Bushell-Beatty all DNP’s so far. DT Austin Faoliu still not progressing much either.

An in-game setback with his hamstring would significantly enhance the likelihood Vaughns is held under 50.5 receiving yards, but it’s an appealing pick even if he plays the entire game.

Cody Latimer UNDER 42.5 Receiving Yards
Frankly, I expected Cody Latimer’s production to explode when Quentin Dormady was inserted as San Antonio’s starting quarterback after Chase Garbers suffered a season-ending injury in Week 3. Dormady and Latimer were teammates on the Guardians in the 2023 XFL, and the duo had an outstanding rapport.
Instead, since Week 4, Latimer has been fourth on the Brahmas in routes (62), fourth in targets (10), third in receptions (seven) and third in receiving yards (46). Latimer was targeted on an underwhelming 16.1% of his routes in those games. He’s had over 42.5 receiving yards just twice this season.
The Brahmas are only 1.5-point favorites on the road against the Defenders, but I’m more bullish on their outlook and expect them to manhandle D.C. Despite offensive coordinator A.J. Smith’s love for the passing game, the Brahmas have settled into a groove on the ground. In the previous two weeks, San Antonio’s running backs have gashed their opponents for 219 rushing yards at 5.8 yards per carry. The Defenders are PFF’s second-worst-ranked run defense. Thus, the Brahmas could stay hot and steamroll them on the ground.
