Tuesday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets: Wings vs. Storm
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Skylar Diggins Over 16.5 Points (-113)
July has not been kind to Skylar Diggins. She has scored 14 or fewer points in five of her six games, and the only time she scored more than 20, she was playing the Connecticut Sun and their bottom-ranked scoring defense.
Despite the drought, Diggins is still averaging 17.5 points per game. This speaks to how well she was shooting before this month. Perhaps the time off over the last week will be what she needs to take advantage of a great matchup tonight.
The last time Diggins faced the Wings, she scored just nine points. However, she also only attempted seven shots in that game. I doubt that a player who averages 13.5 field goal attempts per game is going to shoot the ball that little again, especially against a team allowing 86.8 points per contest. After all, Diggins already has a 21-point performance against the Wings this season.
