We are back in action with two games tonight on the WNBA slate as the All-Star break is in the rear view mirror, and we look to the playoffs down the road. After a clean All-Star game sweep, we continue the momentum into the second half of the season.
Of course, as a reminder, I must advise shopping around for the best props and keep track of lineup news. Staying on top of news is a great way to stay ahead of the market, and shopping around will help with seasonal return on investment (ROI). Let’s get to today’s best WNBA picks and bets.

Monday’s Best WNBA Picks & Bets
Last Time: 3-0 | Season: 16-7 | Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook
Seattle Storm vs. Connecticut Sun
The Seattle Storm travels across the country to face off against the Connecticut Sun. Seattle sits at a hefty favorite around 11.5 points in a game with a total around 157.5 points.
It has been a tough season for the Sun. They are pretty easily the worst team in the WNBA, and there isn't much of a silver lining. Analytically speaking, their offense and defense are both dead last; they allow a lot of boards, and take a lot of twos. The only thing going for them is they're the third-slowest team in the league, so they don't get crushed every game.
Seattle's offense hasn't been a powerhouse, but its defense has been elite. Recently, it's been even better, sitting atop the league in the last 10 games. On the other hand, their offense has been the worst in the league, with a rating of just 93.5 during the same timeframe. So a stoppable force meets a movable object.
I'm shocked at this number, given how these two teams match up. Neither team allows a high number of threes and neither is trying to shoot them. Connecticut's defense is not great, but it jumps up four spots when playing at home, while Seattle plays better on the road. This will be a slow game highlighted by defense prowess. This is an easy bet on the under.
Picks: Under 157.5 Points (-110)
New York Liberty vs. Dallas Wings
The other game of the night is the New York Liberty versus the Dallas Wings, as New York travels to the Lone Star State. New York is a 7.5-point favorite with the total just shy of 170.
New York is the clear favorite and they have a lot going for them. Dallas is at home but played yesterday and got whooped by Las Vegas. The Wings have their solid young core, but they've still struggled defensively. Especially recently, ranking as the 12th worst unit in their last 10 games.
The Liberty far out-ranks the Wings in terms of talent, and I expect that to show here. Jonquel Jones is a force down low, Sabrina Ionescu can score anywhere on the court, and you have Breanna Stewart and Natasha Cloud as double-digit scoring options.
The Liberty have won five of their last six games, and it took the Sparks scoring 101 points to scrape by New York for their sole loss in that time frame. Los Angeles has been the number one offense in the league in recent play, so I don't expect Dallas to be able to keep up with the Liberty’s firepower as much here. This should be a blowout.
Pick: Liberty -7.5 (-110)
