Welcome to another day of the WNBA season. The playoff race is in full swing and with less than a month until the regular season ends these games are only going to get more exciting. IT has been a solid season so far from a betting standpoint so I hope to continue that trend. Here are my favorite bets for tonight's slate. Be sure to shop around for the best odds.

Las Vegas Aces at Atlanta Dream

For now, it appears the Las Vegas Aces have reached their first road bump of the season, losing two of their last three games, including the Los Angeles Sparks snapping a 13-game losing streak to Las Vegas.

Remember that Rhyne Howard is currently questionable for tonight's game but I'm writing this with the hope of her playing. Without her, Cheyenne Parker stepped up big time against the Sky with a 29-point outing.

Despite Atlanta's .500 record, there are a lot of points in this spread tonight. I trust their defense to be able to keep up with a seemingly fatigued Aces team who failed to eclipse 75 points in each of their two most recent losses. Even coming off a loss, the Aces have lost their Goliath intimidation factor too.

The Dream will have to depend on their playmakers against the Aces’ elite defense and continue rebounding well on the defensive glass to limit Las Vegas' second-chance opportunities. Even if they struggle, 16 points are well within their reach.

Play: Dream +15.5 (-110)

Connecticut Sun at Washington Mystics

After snapping a nine-game road losing streak on Friday, the Mystics play their second straight home game tonight against a Sun team who recently clinched a playoff spot. Both teams are dealing with some injuries so it will be interesting to see how each coach adjusts to what is offered.

Despite their record, the Mystics are two different teams on the road versus at home, going 4-12 ATS away vs. 9-7 at home. Conversely, Connecticut shows out away from its home state with an impressive 11-6 ATS road record.

The Sun's elite, second-ranked defense will be difficult for Washington to overcome, especially with their lackluster rebounding. The Mystics should hope to push the pace a bit to keep Connecticut on its toes and the Sun is quite capable of keeping up.

It's surprising to me how low of a total number this over/under sits at considering their last two matchups have gone 176 and 169. Give me the points tonight.

Play: Over 159 (-110)

Seattle Storm at Chicago Sky

For two teams whose stocks are currently trending in near opposite directions, I'll keep this one short.

Jewell Loyd has been electric, leading Seattle to an 88-74 win at Minnesota with a 31-point outing, adding five boards and four assists. The Storm are 6-3 in their last nine games and have stepped up in close games, which tonight projects to be.

Chicago on the other hand is on a five-game skid and I don't exactly see any reason for them turning it around all of a sudden. Their home-court advantage is nothing to write home about and with Seattle holding a 16-11 ATS record as an underdog this year, the choice is easy.

Play: Storm +3.5 (-110)
