WNBA Player Props & Bets: Sunday (5/10)

Now that we've seen nearly every team play a game, we've got more than just speculation and last season’s player performance to consider for our WNBA player props. We certainly have plenty of great options today, with four games on the schedule, starting with the Storm and Sun at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Sunday’s Best WNBA Player Props

Dominique Malonga Over 17.5 Points (-110 at Fanatics Sportsbook)

With the roster losing a number of players from last year's squad, the Storm need last year's No. 2 overall draft pick to play up to her draft selection. If Seattle's season opener against Golden State is any indication, she might do just that (21 points and eight rebounds).

Connecticut's defense was nothing special in its season opener against New York, so I don't see the Sun slowing her down much, if at all.

Breanna Stewart Over 7.5 Rebounds (+110 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

With Sabrina Ionescu, Satou Sabally and Rebecca Allen ruled out, this game will be much like New York's season opener. The Liberty will look to Breanna Stewart to play like the superstar she is and have another solid game. She pulled down 10 boards against the Sun. Washington will put up a better fight. But Stewart to go over 7.5 rebounds at +110 is a solid play.

A'ja Wilson Over 24.5 Points (+100 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

A’ja Wilson had only 19 points against the Mercury, but with Phoenix taking control of the game as early as they did, she logged only 24 minutes. This is the Sparks’ season opener, so we don't know exactly what to expect from them. But we do know what to expect from Wilson. She will want to bounce back, as will her team. As long as she logs at least 30 minutes, Wilson will go over this total.

It took her a couple of games to get warmed up last season, but after getting demolished in the season opener, Wilson and the Aces will bounce back in this game.

Janelle Salaun Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (-145 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

Janelle Salaun was a solid three-point shooter in her rookie season, averaging 1.8 made three-pointers on 4.8 attempts per game (36.6%). She came out firing in Golden State's opener, taking 11 shots and making five. I don't expect her to take as many today, but she only needs to make two threes to hit the over.

Phoenix held Vegas to 21% from the perimeter in their season opener (4-of-19). But I think that had more to do with Las Vegas having an off night than with Phoenix playing stellar defense.
