WNBA Player Props & Bets: Sunday (5/17)

Sundays are meant to be a day of rest as we prepare for a new week. But there is no reason why they can't be a day for betting on WNBA player props as well. With four games scheduled for today, fans have plenty of great options to choose from for their betting pleasure. The following are my favorite props for the day.

Sunday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Angel Reese Over 13.5 Rebounds (-114)

My first thought anytime A'ja Wilson plays is to take the over on her point total. After seeing her blow up for 45 points the other night, that certainly looks like a great idea, right? But the Sun doesn't have much of a defense, and the Dream does.

However, Angel Reese has picked up where she left off with her new team and is killing it on the boards with 16 and 14 in her first two games. She'll want to put on a show for the hometown fans in her first game in Atlanta with the Dream. Teams are pulling down 32.5 rebounds per game against Vegas.

Kelsey Mitchell Over 21.5 Points (-120)

Indiana's offense has picked up where it left off last season, averaging 97.7 points per game with Kelsey Mitchell leading the way with 25.7 points per game (third-most in the league).

Seattle is rebuilding this year, but has played decent defense, allowing 86.3 points per game. I don't think they could hold Mitchell back at full strength, but especially not with all the injuries Seattle is dealing with.

Olivia Miles Over 15.5 Points (-122)

Olivia Miles is averaging 16.3 points per game, but has gone over this total just once - in her first game versus Atlanta. Chicago has been playing solid defense, but will be down several players today.

Until Napheesa Collier returns, Miles will likely remain the top scoring threat for the Lynx. As a rookie with only three games under her belt, she's only going to get better. With this being just Miles’ second home game, she'll still be motivated to put on a show for the hometown fans.

Kelsey Plum Over 21.5 Points (-118)

Kelsey Plum is off to a great start this season with 27, 25 and 27 points in her first three games. Toronto had been playing great defense before Friday's 99-95 loss to the Sparks. The Tempo may very well have a great defensive game this time around, but there is no reason to think they'll be able to slow Plum down after letting her score 27 points on Friday.

If you want a better-priced player prop, consider the over on Plums’ points + rebounds + assists combo at -112 odds. Even if the Tempo slows her down on the scoreboard, she's been averaging 6.7 combined rebounds + assists per game. She had 36 combined points + rebounds + assists in Friday's game.
