Sunday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Kahleah Copper Under 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+124)

I am a little surprised that the price on this one is as high as it is. Atlanta has been holding teams to an average of 6.5 three-pointers per game and 26.3% from three-point range (best in the WNBA).

Kahleah Copper is the leading scorer for the Mercury (18.5 points per game) and takes almost 18 shots per game. But she has made more than one three-pointer in just one game this season, when she went 2-of-7 versus Minnesota on May 12th. Otherwise, she made one in three other games and zero in the other two.

A player who averages just 5.5 three-point attempts per game is not going to make two against this defense.

Sabrina Ionescu Under 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+132)

Sabrina Ionescu is finally making her season debut. It's always better for the game and the league to have the best players doing what they do on the court. However, I'd advise bettors to proceed with caution in her first game of the season.

I'm sure practice has looked great, but practice can't quite compare with a live game. Ionescu will be rusty. Opponents have been making 32.2% of their three-pointers against the Wings, but they are only attempting 19.7 per game and making 6.3.

This is a risky play against one of the better shooters in the league. Since it's her first game of the season, the under is a solid value play.

Kiki Iriafen Over 10.5 Rebounds (-136)

Kiki Iriafen is averaging 12.8 rebounds per game so far this season. With Washington having played only four games so far, the sample size is pretty small. But she was a solid rebounder during her rookie season (8.5 per game; 10+ in nine of her last 14 games), so it is not too much to ask that she hits the over on a line that is under season average.

Opponents have been averaging 36.3 rebounds per game (second-most in the league) against the Storm and 35.3 in Seattle. In Washington's three road games, Iriafen had 16 rebounds (at Toronto), 13 rebounds ( at Indiana) and 10 rebounds (at Dallas). Seattle plays solid defense, but the Storm will not keep Iriafen from crashing the boards in this game.
