Sunday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Breanna Stewart Under 20.5 Points (-102) & Sabrina Ionescu Under 17.5 Points (-110)
It is a little risky taking the under for both Liberty stars in the same game; usually, at least one of them will have a big day. However, since Jonquel Jones has been out of the lineup, neither has produced against the league's better teams. Breanna Stewart had 18 points against Seattle last Sunday and 17 versus Phoenix on Friday, with 23 versus Golden State in between on Wednesday.
Sabrina Ionescu missed the Seattle game but scored 16 points in the game Jones left early with an injury, 11 points versus Golden State and just nine against Phoenix. New York has lost two of their last three games, while Atlanta has lost its previous two. The Dream allows 75.8 points per game at home.
Brionna Jones Over 7.5 Rebounds (+120)
Brionna Jones has gone over this total just twice in her last five games, including a June 17th game against New York, where she recorded three rebounds. But Jones is averaging 8.1 boards per game and will not have to battle Jonquel Jones this time. She'll still have to contend with Breanna Stewart, but at this price, I'm not passing this one up.
Angel Reese Same-Game Parlay: Over 12.5 Points & Over 12.5 Rebounds (+189)
As individual props, the price just isn't right in my opinion. I also don't like the price for the combo prop. However, there is a solid chance Angel Reese goes over both marks, so why not parlay them?
Reese had 18 points and 17 boards on Tuesday against the Sparks (who have one of the worst defenses in the league). Reese has gone over the rebound total in her last three games and the point total in three of the last four.
A'ja Wilson Under 33.5 Points +Rebounds + Assists (-120)
It is never a good idea to underestimate A’ja Wilson, but the results just aren't there this season. She has gone over this number just twice this month. She's averaging 20.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game on the road - that adds up to 32.8 combined points + rebounds + assists, just shy of today’s line.
Napheesa Collier Over 23.5 Points (+100)
The only thing that will keep Napheesa Collier from going over her point total for this game is her playing time. Connecticut is an awful team this season; one that she's already scored 33 points against this season. The Sun defense does not stand a chance.
However, if the Lynx decide to take a page out of the NBA's playbook and practice a little load management for the MVP frontrunner, fresh off missing two games with a back injury, she might not his this mark.
Kayla Thornton Over 15.5 Points (-108)
There is a little risk here since the Storm owns the best road defense in the league (76.7 points per game allowed), but the Valkyries play good, all-around basketball at home, and Kayla Thornton has been on a roll. She has gone over this total in seven of her last eight games, including a June 14th game against the Storm where she scored 22 points.
