WNBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (5/20)

WNBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (5/20)

There are three WNBA games tonight, and I'm picking one player prop for each contest. Caitlin Clark and Natasha Hiederman are heavily favored to hit their Overs, but I'm backing their alternate lines for better prices in great matchups. Then, I highlight why I expect another solid rebounding performance from Kamilla Cardoso. Here are the best WNBA player props and bets for Wednesday, May 20th.

Caitlin Clark Over 3.5 3-Pointers (+162)

Clark is averaging 3.0 made 3-pointers per game. While that average is skewed because of a 7-of-17 game against the Mystics, I still can't help but love her in this matchup.

The Fire are allowing 10.3 3-pointers per game, the second-most in the league. The only team allowing more 3-pointers per game is the Mystics, the team that Clark dominated earlier this season.

While Clark has made two or fewer 3s in three of her four games this season, she attempts plenty of shots from deep. She has at least seven 3-point attempts in three of her four games, and the only time she didn't hit that number, she played just 24 minutes. This is a great matchup, which is why her price for three or more made 3s is sitting at -162. To get one more three for this price is too good to pass up.

Natasha Hiederman Over 3.5 Assists (+124)

Hiederman has only topped three assists in one game this season. However, just like with Clark, I feel that this is a matchup where she's destined to perform a little better than usual.

Hiederman is averaging 3.3 assists per game, and she dished out five last week. That performance came against the Tempo, a team allowing 21.0 assists per game. The Sun are allowing 21.6 per contest.

The only real obstacle for Hiederman is her teammate Jade Melbourne. Melbourne leads the team with 4.5 assists per game. However, Melbourne has also been inconsistent, recording three assists in two of her four games this season. With Hiederman's number set lower, I'll back her in a great matchup.

Kamilla Cardoso Over 10.5 Rebounds (+102)

Cardoso is averaging 10.3 rebounds per game this season. She's yet to record fewer than seven rebounds in a single game, and she's recorded at least 12 twice. She enters tonight's game with 4.3 more rebounds per game than her closest teammate.

The Sky are averaging the second-most rebounds per game. Meanwhile, the Wings are averaging the third-fewest. The Sky will have an obvious advantage on the glass in this game, even if the Wings are allowing the fourth-fewest rebounds per game. And while Jessica Shepard poses a serious threat down low for the Wings, her 16-rebound performance on Monday is greatly inflating her current season average.
