Tonight, the Tempo battles the Liberty, and the Mercury face the Storm in the WNBA Commissioner's Cup. Below, I highlight why I expect Marina Mabrey and Flau'jae Johnson to have success. Then I point out a very weird line from the oddsmakers and explain why you can currently get a steal at +100. Here are the best WNBA player props for Wednesday, June 3rd.

Marina Mabrey Over 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (+205)
The Tempo are averaging 10.2 made three-pointers per game, which is the second-most in the league. I expect multiple Tempo long-distance shooters to have success tonight, as they face a defense allowing 9.6 three-pointers per game, tied for the second-most in the league. But this matchup is particularly amazing for Marina Mabrey, who leads all Tempo players with three made threes per contest.
Mabrey has made more than three three-pointers in only two games this season, and in both, she made six. She's made exactly three three-pointers in three consecutive games. Each of those performances came against teams that are allowing fewer than eight three-pointers per game. Mabrey is red-hot, and this is a great matchup. Take advantage of this line.
I also recommend playing Mabrey over 2.5 made three-pointers for -124.
Flau'jae Johnson Over 12.5 Points (-110)
It's been a boom-or-bust season for Flau’jae Johnson. Though she's averaging 11.9 points per game, she's scored between nine and 13 points just once all season. She's scored at least 16 four times, but she's scored eight or fewer the same number of times. However, I believe that tonight will be one of Johnson's good nights.
Though the Storm rank as one of the worst offensive teams in the league, they're about to face a Mercury defense that just allowed 111 points on Monday. The Mercury are allowing 87.9 points per contest, which ranks fifth-worst in the league.
The Mercury are particularly bad at defending three-pointers, allowing 10.3 makes per game, the most in the league. While Johnson is averaging just 1.1 made three-pointers per game, she has attempted at least five shots from beyond the arc in four of her last five games.
It's clear Johnson wants to be a threat from deep. Against a defense that allows opponents to make 39.8% of their three-pointers, I expect her to have enough success to hit this total, set just above her season average of 11.9.
Alyssa Thomas Under 8.5 Assists (+100)
Alyssa Thomas is averaging 7.8 assists per game, so I'm shocked to see over favored with a price of –132 in this matchup. The Storm are allowing a league-low 17.8 assists per game. And while Thomas has been solid this season, she had just five assists in her last game.
Thomas has one game with 10+ assists, but otherwise, she has been hovering between six and nine. She's only recorded more than 8.5 assists three times, so it's going to take a really good matchup for her to hit the over. Maybe I'm missing something, but this really just feels like a miss from oddsmakers.
