(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Indiana Fever (+176) at Atlanta Dream (-220) | O/U 177.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Dream -5.5 (-112)
- Leg 2: Over 177.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Angel Reese to Record a Double-Double (-220)
- Leg 4: Caitlin Clark 6+ Assists (-650)
The Fever (9-6) and Dream (10-4) meet at 1:00 p.m. ET on ABC in the first game of the day. If it wasn’t Caitlin Clark versus Angel Reese, we’d probably skip this matchup in favor of a late game, giving you time to make those bets. However, when these rivals meet, it’s must-see TV.
In Thursday’s standalone WNBA game, the Dream went into Indianapolis and pulled out a 108-101 win as a 1.5-point favorite, with the over (173.5) cashing. That halted a three-game win and cover streak by Indiana in this series, including an 83-71 win in the first battle this season on June 4th.
Atlanta shot 54% (37-of-69) from the field and 39% (7-of-18) from behind the three-point line. Indiana was 56% (35-of-63) from the floor, while shooting 47% (8-of-17) from behind the arc. The teams were nearly identical at the free-throw line, too.
As far as rebounds, Atlanta was +4, which is to be expected with Reese on the roster. She finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds. However, both teams managed 21 defensive rebounds. Atlanta was +4 in the steals department, while Indiana was much sloppier with 18 turnovers, six more than Atlanta.
Clark had 26 points on 8-of-17 shooting, while posting seven assists. Kelsey Mitchell also had 26 points while knocking down three triples.
Reese has recorded back-to-back double-doubles, averaging 18 points and 14 rebounds, and she has seven double-doubles in the past eight games. We’ll bet on Reese to record a double-double today and for Clark to dish out six or more assists.
Parlay Odds: +428
Chicago Sky (+310) at Dallas Wings (-420) | O/U 170.5 (-118/-104)
- Leg 1: Sky +9.5 (-118)
- Leg 2: Over 170.5 Points (-118)
- Leg 3: Jessica Shepard to Record a Double-Double (-170)
- Leg 4: Azura Stevens 6+ Rebounds (-132)
The Sky (4-10) and Wings (9-6) meet at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, at 8:00 p.m. ET. The game is available on CBS and Paramount+.
The Wings won 99-89 as 3.5-point favorites on the road against the Sky on May 20th. The over (169.5) cashed in that one. That loss halted the Sky’s six-game win and cover streak in the series. The over is 3-1 in the previous four meetings in the series.
Chicago is a respectable 3-4 on the road this season. While it has dropped four in a row, the Sky have covered a season-best three straight. The over has cashed in two straight for the Sky.
Dallas lost 91-80 to Golden State as a 3.5-point underdog, with the over (164.5) cashing. The Wings have alternated wins and losses over the past six games, while the under is 3-1 in the past four.
The Wings are likely to get the win in this home matchup, although the Sky are a solid option to cover, keeping it within single digits to cash for a fourth consecutive outing. We saw the over cash in the first meeting, so let’s bet on that today.
For props, Jessica Shepard is always a strong play to record a double-double. She has four straight double-doubles, averaging 14.8 points and 12.3 rebounds. In addition, let’s take Azura Stevens to grab at least six rebounds for the Sky. She has hauled in six or more boards in five in a row, averaging 8.4 rebounds during that span.
Parlay Odds: +657
