Seattle Storm at Connecticut Sun
Leg #1: Natisha Hiedeman Under 13.5 Points (-102)
We open with a returning pick from Friday, where something was clearly off when you scrolled through the proposed counting stat props on DraftKings Sportsbook for Natisha Hiedeman. Our assumption turned out to be spot-on, and we are going back to the well one more time on her points prop.
After playing backup to Courtney Williams last season, Hiedeman received a well-deserved opportunity to run the offense in Seattle. Hiedeman scored six points on Friday, while shooting 2-of-7 from the field and 0-4 from deep.
The veteran guard averaged a career-high 9.1 points last season for Minnesota while averaging nearly 19 minutes per game.
The implication for this contest is that Hiedeman will score more, considering the opponent (Connecticut Sun). Given the amount of scoring options for Seattle and the rough shooting to start the season, it may be best to once again take the under on her points prop before it drops even further.
Leg #2: Flau'jae Johnson Over 12.5 Points (-128)
The Seattle Storm are once again on the road, taking on a Connecticut team playing under an extremely uncertain future. If all reports are true, the Connecticut Sun will relocate to Houston following this season. Connecticut does not have much to play for in 2026, which creates a ton of opportunities for opponents when it comes to counting props, with points being the most enticing.
Flau'jae Johnson did not have the best opening night performance to kick off what should be a fantastic WNBA career. Having said that, the LSU alum scored 12 points in 26 minutes of playing time. Johnson only made three baskets out of 12 attempts, yet all three were from beyond the arc.
Connecticut allowed 106 points on 52% shooting from the field against the Liberty on Friday. The Storm showed in their first outing that they are fully committed to a high-paced brand of basketball - this bodes very well for Johnson. We feel the shooting for Johnson does improve in this matchup, and she hits the over on her points prop.

New York Liberty at Washington Mystics
Leg #1: Jonquel Jones Under 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-106)
While we were bullish on a rebounding prop for Jonquel Jones on Friday, the result calls for an immediate case correction. As phenomenal as Jonquel Jones has played over a fantastic career, the wheels may be coming off the track a bit this season. This line is way more indicative of prior success.
Jones played 25 minutes in the first contest for New York. The veteran forward finished with 10 points on 42.9% shooting from the field and 1-of-5 from three-point distance. Jones is averaging 6.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists over her last five games.
Jones is shooting a woeful 30.8% from the field through the previous five games played. The Liberty forward has dropped in averages and points over the last few years, and that may continue over the course of the 2026 season. It's a solid matchup for Jones; we just do not see the veteran reaching a combination of 27 points + rebounds + assists.
Leg #2: Breanna Stewart Over 20.5 Points (-130)
Breanna Stewart opened the 2026 season with a powerful 30-point performance. The situation looks primed for another high-scoring output for Stewart. The veteran forward powered the New York offense, and absolutely has an opportunity to lead the team in scoring once again today.
Sabrina Ionescu will be out once again for this contest due to a foot injury, which will greatly increase Stewart’s chances of stacking points. Stewart is averaging 21.8 points over the last five games, with three of those games totaling 21+ points.
Given the expected bump in usage and shot volume, the forward for New York can reach 21+ points in this contest. Stewart missed on all four attempts from beyond the perimeter last time out, while still managing to reach 30 points. If the three-point shot is falling, the line for the UConn product may be close to 25 points in the next contest.
