The San Francisco Giants have won nine consecutive games, and look for a tenth straight when facing the San Diego Padres.

Betting Impact:

Despite San Francisco's long winning streak and best record in the majors, the Padres are -120 moneyline road favorites tonight, per BettingPros consensus odds. The Giants have been home underdogs 17 times this year and are a profitable 8-9 in that role. Conversely, the Padres are 24-24 as road favorites. San Diego being favored is a result of a perceived pitching mismatch, as Joe Musgrove (10-9, 2.93) opposes Dominic Leone (3-3, 1.41). The under is 4-0 in Musgrove’s last four starts against teams from the NL West. The Giants are 5-1 in their last six games against the Padres, and the over has cashed six of their last seven meetings.
