Friday’s Best NCAA Tournament PrizePicks Player Predictions
Coen Carr Less Than 8.5 Points
Michigan State’s Coen Carr has scored at least nine points in just 43% of games this season. He’s also cleared this number in only three of his last 10 games.
Meanwhile, he’s battling an Ole Miss defense ranked 69th in points allowed to forwards this season. Although Carr has shot nearly 71% from the field over the last 10 games, he’s attempted below five field goals per game in that span. Ole Miss currently ranks seventh in all of college basketball in field goal attempts allowed to forwards this season.
Carr likely won’t even reach four field goal attempts in tonight’s game.
Zakai Zeigler More Than 14.5 Points
The Tennessee point guard has added at least 15 points in nearly 50% of games this season. Zakai Zeigler scored 17 points against Kentucky in mid-February.
Zeigler should continue to have success against the Kentucky Wildcats. After all, Kentucky ranks 286th in points allowed to point guards this season. The Wildcats have watched point guards attempt more than 13 shots per game against them this season. Kentucky also ranks 260th in field goal percentage allowed to point guards this year.
That said, Zeigler has scored at least 15 points in four of his last five and seven of his previous 10. He’s also shot nearly 41% from the field and has taken almost nine field goals per game. Look for these numbers to increase in tonight’s game against the Wildcats.
Danny Wolf More Than 12.5 Points
The Auburn Tigers have fared well defensively this season. But the one position the Tigers have struggled with is players like Danny Wolf, who are labeled as a forward/center.
The Tigers rank 302nd in the nation in points allowed to forward/center players. They also rank 279th in three-pointers made and have allowed a high rate of offensive rebounds while ranking 299th in field goals made defensively to the forward/center position.
Wolf has recorded at least 13 points in three of his last four games, including last weekend’s game against Texas A&M, where he scored 14. Wolf also added 13 points against Auburn last March when he played for Yale and upset the Tigers in the first round of last year’s NCAA Tournament.

The Auburn guard will take on a Michigan defense ranked 233rd in points allowed to guards this season. In addition, guards have taken more than 13 shots per game against the Wolverines this season.
Kelly’s volume should be high. After all, he’s taken at least 10 shots in four of his last five games.
