Matsuyama can be a bit volatile, but he’s continuously shown an ability to heat up and go on a birdie run. There is value on Matsuyama this week, who has previously posted three top-10s in his last seven trips to the TOUR Championship.

I can’t quit Gary Woodland right now. He’s had a bounce-back campaign in 2026, and I don’t see Woodland slowing down, coming off a T4 finish at Bellerive on Sunday.
Woodland makes his first return to East Lake since a 15th-place finish in 2019. However, starting strokes are no longer enforced, giving the 42-year-old an edge he didn’t previously hold.
Notable ranks include sixth in SG: Off-the-Tee, including 9th in total driving and sixth in driving distance. Woodland also sits 19th in 200+ yard approach shots, 41st in proximity, and 13th in par 4 scoring this season.
