Saturday’s Best 2026 World Cup Picks & Predictions: Brazil vs. Morocco
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Brazil (-150) vs. Morocco (+450) | Draw (+270) | O/U 2.5 (+102/-130)
Brazil, ranked No. 6 in the FIFA Men’s World Ranking, meets No. 8 Morocco in what is perhaps one of the most intriguing matchups of the group stage. The Seleção tuned up with a 3-1 win over Croatia but suffered a 2-1 loss to France. Morocco, a.k.a. The Atlas Lions, eased by Paraguay 2-1, while playing to a 1-1 draw with Ecuador ahead of the festivities.
Morocco is coming off its best-ever finish in a World Cup, finishing fourth in Qatar in 2022, so we’ll see what Mohamed Ouahbi’s squad can do for a follow-up. The bar is set awfully high. Brazil is a five-time champion, but it bowed out in the quarterfinals in Qatar.
These sides have met just once before - in the 1998 World Cup, with Brazil pounding Morocco 3-0 on June 16th, 1998, in Nantes, France, highlighted by goals from legendary countrymen Ronaldo and Rivaldo.
It’s tempting to play the draw for the chance to nearly triple up. Both sides will be careful in this group game, as a loss is not necessarily damaging, but it’s not helpful either. Let’s go with the draw and the under.
Picks: Draw (+270) & Under 2.5 Goals (+102)
