Best Prop Bets Today
On top of pinpointing our top prop bets by star rating, we can take it a step further by identifying which five-star props also have a 100% hit rate over the player's last five games. You can also filter hit rates over the past 15 games, but let's not push our luck.
Donovan Walton Over 0.5 Hits
Last Week: 1-0 | Season Record: 2-1 | Best Odds: -165 at Fanatics Sportsbook
Taylor Trammell brought us back to the plus side in the win column, and let’s see if we can make it two straight weeks of cashing bets.
The MLB prop bet cheat sheet today features 42 player props with a 100% hit rate over the last five games - with just six labeled as 5-star bets.
One of those 5-star prop bets is Donovan Walton to go over 0.5 hits.
The BettingPros prop bet cheat sheet likes Walton to record a hit today in his road matchup against Dodgers starting pitcher Roki Sasaki.
It's easy to see why the cheat sheet loves Walton. Things started slowly for the seven-year journeyman after he was called up from Triple-A by the Angels, as he went hitless in his first three games. Since then, however, Walton has recorded at least one hit in eight straight games.
The Angels third baseman has 11 hits during that eight-game stretch, including a three-hit performance versus the Tigers on May 28th.

Although Walton has been hitting near the middle or bottom of the order, he is still averaging nearly four at-bats per game. He has recorded four or more at-bats in five games during his current hitting streak, giving him plenty of opportunities to cash this prop bet.
A matchup against Sasaki may look daunting on paper, but the Dodgers starting pitcher has allowed 50 hits across 10 starts this season. For perspective, he allowed 30 hits in 10 regular-season appearances last season, albeit in almost 15 fewer innings.
Among pitchers with at least 50 innings, Sasaki has allowed the seventh-most hits this season. By comparison, Zack Wheeler's 30 hits allowed are the fewest among that group. Thirty of Sasaki's 50 hits allowed have come against left-handed hitters, who are batting .268 batting against him, compared to .233 by right-handed hitters
Walton is by far a superior hitter versus right-handed pitchers:
- Versus LHP: 1-for-7, .143 average, .143 slugging rate, .143 on-base percentage, .286 OPS
- Versus RHP: 10-for-31, .323 average, .419 slugging rate, .364 on-base percentage, .783 OPS
Walton's splits, recent production and current hitting streak make him a worthwhile bet today. BettingPros agrees, giving this prop a 64% cover probability with a 20% expected value. It's hard to bet against a prop that has cashed in eight straight games.
