By now, we know the contenders and pretenders in the MLB. Many teams that decided to go all-in at the MLB Trade Deadline have struggled to win games since.
It’s time to bet on those consistent, contending teams moving forward.
Here are two same game parlays to consider for tonight’s MLB slate. And here’s a look at Braves vs. Pirates.
Monday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets: Braves vs. Pirates
Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook
Atlanta Braves vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
- Leg 1: Ozzie Albies Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120)
- Leg 2: Matt Olson Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
- Leg 3: Michael Harris II Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)
The Atlanta Braves will take on Osvaldo Bido of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bido has only thrown 47.5 pitches per start over the last month and has watched lefties hit a .154 ISO and wOBA of .413 in that span.
Bido has also allowed more fly balls than ground balls induced and has watched lefties hit 45% of line drives when the ball is put in play over the last 30 days.
The right-hander has a challenging task against Atlanta’s lefties. Ozzie Albies has slugged a .240 ISO and wOBA of .353 against his last 89 righties. He’s also limited strikeouts to 19.1% in the previous month against righties.
Meanwhile, Matt Olson continues to show off his power against righties. He’s hit a .431 ISO and wOBA of .482 against his last 76 righties faced.
Finally, although Michael Harris II will bat at the bottom of the order, he’s still hit a .186 ISO and wOBA of .404 against his last 67 righties. Harris has struck out just 13.4% of the time against righties and should have multiple good at-bats against Bido tonight.
