Top College Football Same Game Parlays: LSU vs. Clemson

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

No. 9 LSU vs. No. 4 Clemson

  • Leg 1: Caden Durham Over 62.5 Rushing Yards (+-114)
  • Leg 2: Cade Klubnik Under 34.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
  • Leg 3: LSU Moneyline (+150)

This game will likely be much different than the Texas-Ohio State game. Ultimately, both teams have returning quarterbacks who are highly regarded. Cade Klubnik really turned it around last season for Clemson. Meanwhile, Garrett Nussmeier was a bit inconsistent, but when he was on, he looked like the best quarterback in college football.

However, while both teams have elite quarterbacks, the media on both sides are primarily discussing how great each team’s defense is. It’s hard to ignore the fact that LSU hasn’t won an opener since the Joe Burrow days. However, that should only make LSU want it more. After all the losses, you’d think LSU would be much more prepared this go-around. Additionally, they attempted to compensate by utilizing many younger prospects on defense. This year, they’ve added a significant amount of experience to the roster through the transfer portal.

On the LSU side, we’ve heard that they’ve tackled well and feel super confident heading into the season on defense. That’s something new that we haven’t heard in other seasons.

For Clemson, the defense should be just as elite, especially at home. LSU will need to establish the run and get solid yardage on the ground to dictate the offense. Clemson’s camp already suggested that Caden Durham might be the best running back they’ll see this season.

Therefore, I’ll take Caden Durham to add at least 62.5 rushing yards for LSU.  I’ll also take Clemson QB Cade Klubnik to rush for under 34.5 rushing yards, since LSU is super excited about their recent tackling ability. In addition, we’ll roll with the LSU Tigers to win outright on the moneyline.
