We saw five contracts awarded in Week 4 of Dana White's Contender Series, bringing the total to 20. Week 5 marks the midway point of the season, and 20 newcomers have joined the roster across eight divisions. The bantamweight division is finally making the card this week, but the light heavyweights headline the card on Tuesday evening. The Week 5 card starts at 7:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+. Welterweight: Isaac Moreno vs. Reginaldo Junior
Isaac Moreno enters this fight on short notice, but his skill set is well-rounded. He is fighting Reginaldo Junior, who is 11-1 as a professional. Moreno is 8-0 as a professional, with five knockout victories.
Moreno has not fought since October 2025, beating Darian Weeks via first-round knockout. Weeks was 0-3 in the UFC, which shows Moreno's caliber. He beat Melvin Guillard before that, who was also a former UFC fighter. Guillard was 42 at the time, but is an experienced fighter. He has a record of 12-9 in the UFC and 0-3 in Bellator. Moreno has fought much better opponents in his career.
Junior is a Brazilian fighter who has spent the last few years in Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA). He has a record of 5-1 in the promotion, with his lone loss coming via unanimous decision against Richard Martins in March 2023. Junior has a lot of power, mainly with his right hand. He also has a well-rounded skill set, but he is slightly smaller than Moreno.
The wrestling is likely pretty even, so I expect this matchup to take place on the feet. Moreno keeps his hands low, but should have a speed advantage against Junior. He throws a lot of volume and darts in and out quickly. He must circle away from Junior's right hand and stay active while mixing in takedowns to keep Junior honest. I like Moreno to win what is likely the highest-level fight on this card.

Light Heavyweight: Quentin Pasley vs. Arlind Berisha
Arlind Berisha is 5-0 professionally but still has more professional experience than his opponent. Quentin Pasley is 3-0 as a professional, with seven fights as an amateur. Berisha and Pasley have not faced high-level competition, so neither has an advantage there.
Pasley is a striker, with solid boxing. Berisha has higher-level grappling, but this fight should take place on the feet. Pasley has better technique on the feet, offensively and defensively. He most recently fought in a boxing match and won by knockout in the first round.
The problem with Berisha's technique is that he keeps his chin high. Both have a lot of power, so it shouldn't last long. Neither man is high-level, so I like the underdog that offers good value. Pasley can catch Berisha on the chin with decent combinations. He is the more technical fighter, with crisp boxing. Pasley’s defense is better, and I expect him to land a power punch before Berisha does.
