Today’s Best NCAA Basketball Picks: Iona vs. Siena

Here are my best bets for today's men's college basketball slate.

Iona vs. Siena

Again, this is almost a college basketball off-day, but Siena and Iona are respectively one and two in MAAC standings, so there's a good chance you’ll see one of these teams in March.

Nelly Junior and Daniss Jenkins are two of the best players in the conference for Iona. The three-headed monster with them and Walter Clayton lead Iona to rank top-100 both offensively and defensively.

Siena allows a lot of shots inside, with 60 percent of opponents’ points coming inside the arc, ranking sixth in DI ball. Iona's 31st-ranked three-point defense should give Siena's shooters trouble, especially considering Siena's highest usage guy – Javian McCollum – is questionable tonight.

I don't love going with two favorites, but I have to go with Iona here.
