Tuesday’s Best MLB Betting System Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Home dogs off loss, non division

The “Home dogs off loss, non division” system has added a 2.1% return on investment (ROI) over its last 270 bets. It has only won 42% of the time but has earned a profit of nearly six units.

Ultimately, this system looks for teams with odds between +101 to +10000 at home after a loss when playing a team not in the division.

The Mariners are currently in a series with the Yankees and lost yesterday. They’re now facing Max Fried of the Yankees, who has been lights out. However, the Mariners will throw Bryan Woo, who can keep the Mariners in it.

Woo has limited his first 174 batters to a .117 ISO and wOBA of .248 this season. He’s also struck out 25.3% of batters and has kept walks to 4.6%. Let’s roll with Woo and the Mariners.

Pick: Mariners Moneyline (+120)

Favorite, offday, home

The Cincinnati Reds will battle the Chicago White Sox at home tonight. The “Favorite, offday, home” system has a 1.7% ROI over its last 669 bets. It’s added 11.61 units of profit and has won 45% of the time.

This system looks for favorites on the run line who had an off day before the game, while playing at home in the regular season.

The Reds fit the script. Cincinnati will begin its series against the White Sox with Andrew Abbott on the mound. Abbott has limited teams to a .140 ISO and wOBA of .278 and has struck out close to 32% of batters. He’s in line to face a White Sox lineup that has hit a .099 ISO and wOBA of .251 against lefties over the last 30 days.

On the other hand, Jonathan Cannon will start for the White Sox. He’s a righty who has struck out fewer than 17% of batters while allowing a .159 ISO and wOBA of .339. The Reds aren’t an elite offense, but they’ve added close to 10% of walks against righties, while hitting a .307 wOBA. That’s much better than the White Sox.

Take the Reds on the run line.

Pick: Reds -1.5 (-102)

Cubs Weekday Overs

This last system looks at Cubs games that aren’t played on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Over their last 83 weekday games, the Cubs have added a 21% ROI on the over.

Today is a Tuesday, and the Cubs are home in the regular season. Therefore, it’s time to fire on the over.

The Marlins will send Valente Bellozo to the mound. He has given up a .226 ISO and wOBA of .434 to his first 38 lefties this season. Pete Crow-Amstrong, Kyle Tucker and Michael Busch are key lefties who can destroy Bellozo.

On the other hand, Chicago is starting Ben Brown. Brown has been good, except for the fact he’s allowed a .373 wOBA to his first 76 lefties. The Marlins have a few lefties that can at least help the Marlins get on the board.

The over is the play.

Pick: Over 8.5 Runs (-110)
