(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jose Ramirez (+320)
Over the last 30 days. Jose Ramirez has slugged a .310 ISO and a wOBA of .481 against left-handed pitching. The switch-hitting power hitter has struck out only 12.1% of the time against lefties batting from the right side.
He’s also hit 36% of fly balls and 76% of hard contact with a team-best 12% barrel percentage over the last 30 days against lefties.
Today, he’ll take on Jacob Lopez of the Athletics, who has allowed a .194 ISO and a wOBA of .371 to his last 74 righties. Those righties have hit 39.2% of fly balls, with only 33.3% of ground balls. Lopez consistently falls behind against righties and has earned just 16.2% of strikeouts.
Let’s back Ramirez to hit a long ball tonight for the Guardians.
Jordan Walker (+390)
The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to pitch Roki Sasaki tonight. The right-hander has struggled this season, allowing a .299 ISO and a wOBA of .440 to his last 90 batters. Righties have hit a .370 ISO and a wOBA of .465 against Sasaki over the last 30 days.
On the other hand, he’ll have Jordan Walker of the St. Louis Cardinals, who has hit a .260 ISO and a wOBA of .396 against right-handed pitching, as a right-handed batter. Walker has a high strikeout rate, but has also added a 21.6% barrel percentage with 31.4% of fly balls against righties.
If Walker connects against Sasaki, it could be a blast. Give Walker a try at +390.
Carter Jensen (+490)
Emerson Hancock started the season hot for the Seattle Mariners. However, over the last 30 days, the right-hander has allowed a .318 ISO and a wOBA of .403 to his last 46 lefties. Those lefties have hit 59.5% of hard contact and have earned an 18.9% barrel percentage. Plus, the last 46 lefties have struck out just 15.2% of the time against Hancock.
Carter Jensen is currently the most lethal lefty in the Kansas City Royals’ lineup. He’s hit a .315 ISO and a wOBA of .443 against righties over the last month. Additionally, he’s slugged 41.7% of fly balls during that time and has added a 16.7% barrel percentage.
Ride it out with Jensen tonight.
