The final Dinger Tuesday of the 2026 MLB regular season is upon us. Thank you to everyone who’s been along for the ride this season. I have hit two out of three home run picks in four of the last six weeks, so let's keep that momentum going into this Tuesday's action. Here are three of my favorite home run picks for Tuesday, September 22.

Tuesday's Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets
(All bets one unit, unless otherwise specified.)
Ketel Marte (+269 at DraftKings)
My first home run pick for Tuesday's MLB slate is Ketel Marte of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks may need a miracle to make the playoffs, but Marte won't require a heavenly hand to hit one out of the park against Kyle Freeland and the rest of the Colorado Rockies pitching staff.
Freeland has faced 213 right-handed batters in Coors Field this year and has allowed 14 home runs. That is a home run every 15.2 plate appearances. For reference, Kyle Schwarber and Pete Crow-Armstrong are tied for the Major League lead with 45 home runs each this season. Together, they have hit a home run every 15.3 plate appearances.
These numbers are also in line with Marte's career marks versus the Rockies' left-hander. Marte is 17-for-51 against Freeland in their previous head-to-head meetings. Arizona's second baseman has five doubles, a triple, and three home runs in those encounters.
Marte may face Freeland only twice, since this will be Freeland's second start off the Injured List. However, it wouldn't surprise me if that was all Marte needed to go deep. Besides, we always have Coors and the Rockies bullpen to fall back on.
The Rockies have allowed 904 runs this season. Only one other team has given up more than 805 total runs. This is an extremely favorable spot for Marte. Despite the short odds, I am picking him to hit a home run on Tuesday.
Jose Siri (+438 at DraftKings)
Next, I am betting on Jose Siri to hit a homer in Sacramento when the Los Angeles Angels take on Brady Basso and the Athletics.
Siri has hit third in the Angels’ order in each of the team's last five games versus left-handed starting pitchers. He has rewarded the team's confidence with nine hits in those five starts, including a home run and two doubles. The matchup with Basso should allow Siri to stay hot at the plate.
Basso has allowed right-handed hitters to bat .324 and slug .505 this year. Not surprisingly, those numbers are even higher (.345 and .534) in Sutter Health Park. The Athletics' temporary home has the highest park factor for right-handed hitting in the Major Leagues. Siri is hitting the ball much better away from Angel Stadium this year. The veteran outfielder is hitting .289 with five home runs in 98 plate appearances on the road this season.
Siri's Achilles heel is his 35.7 percent career strikeout rate. However, that should matter less with Basso on the mound. Basso has only fanned 15.5 percent of right-handed hitters across his 74 Major League innings. Siri also profiles well against Basso's pitch mix.
Basso features a four-seam fastball, curveball, or cutter over 85 percent of the time when facing righties. Siri has a .568 slugging percentage with five home runs in just 51 plate appearances when facing those offerings from left-handed pitching. This feels like a good spot for Siri to improve upon those numbers.
Mookie Betts (+600 at Fanatics*)
My final home run bet for the 2026 regular season is on Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers face Michael King and the San Diego Padres on Tuesday night. King and the Padres don’t give up many home runs overall. However, I see reason for optimism with Betts.
First, Betts has finally found his power stroke. He has 10 hits across his last four games, including three doubles and two homers. Betts already has six home runs in September. The last time he hit seven or more home runs in a calendar month was August of 2023.
Betts has also seen the ball well against San Diego's Tuesday night starter, which bodes well for his prospects. Betts is 6-for-21 lifetime with three long balls against King. All three home runs have come in the last three seasons, despite Betts' relatively lackluster power numbers during that timeframe.
King isn’t immune to giving up home runs away from Petco Park. Opposing right-handed hitters have taken King deep five times in just 138 plate appearances on the road this season.
Considering these factors, it is hard not to like Betts, especially at this price point. I grabbed it at +600 on Fanatics, and it immediately dropped to +550. I'm not saying I can change lines, but it is clear they quickly realized their mistake. I would be comfortable playing this home run prop at anything higher than +450.
