Los Angeles Angels (+225) at New York Yankees (-278) | O/U 8.5 (-122/+102)

The Yankees continue to move back onto the right path, having won seven of their last nine. The team has to be happy that the offense has been better and Aaron Judge is running away with the American League MVP. Alex Verdugo is starting to heat up and Jazz Chisholm Jr. has been a great addition. The pitching still needs to be better, especially when the playoffs start.

It's been a tough stretch for Nestor Cortes as the Yankees have lost six of his seven starts. He's had a couple of starts where he hasn't gotten any run support, but he's also allowed four or more runs in three of his last four starts.

The Angels split the double-header, which is probably the best they could do against a far superior team. They are playing much better and have won three of their last four games. Much of it has to do with the pitching and shutting down two good offenses, the Mets and the Yankees.

Tyler Anderson has been the Angels' best pitcher by a mile. He leads the team in ERA and WAR. He's already faced the Yankees and had a great start, allowing one run in five innings.

Anderson should have another solid outing and we should see a rebound game, so look to take the under.

Cincinnati Reds (-194) at Miami Marlins (+162) | O/U 7.5 (-110/-110)

The Reds have now slipped to last place in the National League Central, but they are still in contention in the Wild Card at just 5.5 games out of a playoff spot. This team has a lot of pop, as they are ninth in slugging and home runs since July 24th, but are all or nothing as they are 26th in batting average and 18th in strikeout rate.

Hunter Greene has vastly improved this year. While his strikeout rate has dropped, he's been better at locating the ball away from the hitter's power zone. His 2.82 ERA is two runs lower than his career average.

It's another disastrous year for the Marlins, who have the second-worst record in the National League. They traded some of their best players, including Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Josh Bell, as they try to plan for the future for another year.

Kyle Tyler is on his third team in three years and may have to find a new one after this year. He's yet to pitch past the sixth inning. He's allowed seven earned runs in his last 6.2 innings of work.

After yesterday’s loss, Greene should be able to shut down this offense and help Cincinnati win the series.
