Friday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Seiya Suzuki Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)

Seiya Suzuki has been on a tear recently, hitting a .289 ISO and wOBA of .406 against his last 85 righties as a right-handed batter. While Suzuki’s strikeout rate is a bit high, he’s still launched 37.7% of fly balls and 26.4% of line drives when putting the ball in play over the last 30 days against righties.

Additionally, he’s smacked 50.1% of hard contact and has a 15.1% barrel percentage with a .388 BABIP against righties during that same time.

He’ll battle Jake Irvin of the Nationals tonight. Irvin has struggled with right-handed batters over the last month. He’s allowed a .294 ISO and wOBA of .483 to his previous 55 righties faced as a right-handed pitcher. He’s also struck out just 18.2% of righties and has given up 51.2% of hard contact with only 8.2% of swinging strikes to righties.

Beyond that, Irvin has also allowed 31.7% of line drives to righties.

Therefore, if Suzuki can get ahold of one, he’s got a chance for an extra-base hit against Irvin.

Juan Soto Over .5 Total Bases (-175)

Over the last 30 days, Juan Soto has launched a .298 ISO and wOBA of .396 against his last 58 righties. He’s also struck out only 20.7% of the time and has hit 54.3% of hard contact with a 20% barrel percentage against righties in that time.

Tonight, he’ll take on Erick Fedde of the Cardinals. Fedde is a right-hander struggling to get lefties out. He’s allowed a .267 ISO and wOBA of .372 with 37.1% of fly balls and just 31.4% of ground balls induced.

Beyond that, Fedde has only struck out lefties 19.2% of the time and has allowed nearly 29% of line drives to lefties.

Soto is often protected in the Yankees’ lineup with Aaron Judge behind him. Austin Wells would be next in the lineup, and he’s another dangerous lefty against Soto. Fedde will have no choice but to pitch to Soto tonight.

Jhonkensy Noel Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)

There aren’t many hitters hotter than Jhonkensy Noel against lefties. The right-handed power slugger has added a .684 ISO and wOBA of .611 against lefties over the last month.

He’s hit 35.7% of fly balls and has smashed a 64.3% hard contact rate with a ridiculous 35.7% barrel percentage. He’s had great matchups against lefties throughout August, but he’ll get another one that’s just as good tonight.

Noel is in line to face Bailey Falter of the Pirates. Falter is a lefty who has allowed a .155 ISO and wOBA of .404 against his last 65 righties. Falter has allowed 54.3% of hard contact in the previous 30 days to righties and has given up more than 39% of line drives.

There’s a good chance Noel hits Falter extremely hard tonight.
