Wednesday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Joc Pederson Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)

Over the last 30 days, Joc Pederson has smashed a .500 ISO and wOBA of .539 against right-handed pitching. He’s struck out only 17.7% of the time and has unloaded a 64.1% hard contact rate with a 25.6% barrel percentage against righties over the last month.

Meanwhile, he’ll take on Roddery Munoz of the Marlins. Munoz is a right-handed hitter who has allowed a .400 ISO and wOBA of .417 to his last 51 lefties. He’s also given up a .383 ISO and wOBA of .440 to 165 lefties this season. Munoz has been consistently awful against lefties and allows them a bunch of extra-base hits.

Pederson is red-hot at the plate against righties and has the perfect matchup.

Jacob Stallings Over .5 Hits (-175)

Let’s put some respect on Jacobs Stallings’ name. Stallings has hit a .429 ISO and wOBA of .489 against his last 18 lefties. The right-handed catcher has also struck out just 16.7% of the time and has hit 36.4% of fly balls with a 9.1% barrel percentage.

Stallings will face Mitchell Parker, the Washington lefty, who has allowed a .253 ISO and wOBA of .402 to his last 85 righties. Parker has allowed 45% of hard contact and 31.7% of line drives. In addition, he’s allowed 31.7% of line drives and has induced just 30% of ground balls against righties over the last month.

Parker has also struck out just 18.8% of righties over the last month and has earned only 8.4% swinging strikes against righties. Let’s give Stallings a shot to earn at least one base hit.

Matt Olson Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)

Over the last month, Atlanta power slugger Matt Olson has launched a .311 ISO and wOBA of .414 against his last 86 righties. He’s added nearly 29% of fly balls and has hit a hard contact rate of 76.9% with a 19.2-% barrel percentage against righties over the last 30 days.

He’ll go up against Aaron Nola of the Phillies, which doesn’t sound like the best matchup. However, Nola has allowed a .278 ISO and wOBA of .443 to his last 83 lefties over the previous month. The right-handed Phillies ace has also struck out just 15.7% of lefties over the last month.

Furthermore, Nola has allowed 46.7% of hard contact to lefties and has given up 35% of fly balls over the last month. Even more shocking, Nola has recorded just 6.6% of swinging strikes against lefties in that time.

Look for Olson to launch a couple of baseballs in a super rivalry game between competitive NL East teams.
