Emmet Sheehan Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+112)

Don’t overlook Emmet Sheehan on a Dodgers roster full of stars. The 26-year-old hurler has impressed at home this campaign, posting a 3.62 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in six starts (32.1 innings).

Take note that he has tallied at least six strikeouts in each of those six outings. Sheehan’s stuff is nasty, as he ranks among the top 10 starting pitchers in chase rate (36.9%) and is generating a 40.5% whiff rate on his slider alone.

An ideal matchup awaits Sheehan on Sunday. The Angels’ offense averages the most strikeouts per game (9.44) and sports the second-highest whiff rate (27.4%) in the Majors.

The issues that have plagued them at the plate were on full display earlier in this series. Roki Sasaki dazzled with double-digit strikeouts on Friday. Back Sheehan to follow in his teammate’s footsteps with a great performance.

Jack Flaherty Under 15.5 Outs Recorded (-120)

Let’s switch gears from an arm flying under the radar to an arm all over the radar for the wrong reasons. Detroit’s Jack Flaherty has been one of the league’s most disappointing pitchers in 2026, logging a dismal 5.31 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 13 starts.

To make matters worse, Flaherty hasn’t even been an innings eater on the mound for the Tigers. He has only recorded more than 15 outs four times this season.

There’s not a lot to like about Flaherty’s chances of bucking that trend. The Mariners visit Comerica Park with the sixth-highest on-base percentage (OBP) versus right-handers (.331) and the third-highest OPS during the past 15 days (.816).

Seattle is a top-10 squad in pitches seen per plate appearance as well (3.93). Trust in Flaherty is dwindling, so expect him to have a short leash in a tough draw on Sunday. Lock in the under in this spot.

Rafael Devers to Hit a Home Run (+400)

It’s safe to say Jameson Taillon does not consider the long ball a friend of his. The Chicago righty has surrendered the most home runs in baseball (20). No other pitcher has even conceded 18 blasts yet.

It’s no secret why these struggles have popped up, either. Taillon is averaging a career-low 91.8 miles per hour (MPH) on his fastball and is giving up barrels at an alarming rate (14.5%). Opponents are capitalizing on every mistake he makes.

There are a few Giants worth betting to go deep on Sunday night, but Rafael Devers sticks out. The first baseman has two homers and six RBI to his name in 13 career at-bats against Taillon.

Devers also remains a top-35 batter in hard-hit rate (48.8%) and average exit velocity (91.7 MPH). The crowd at Wrigley Field is no stranger to Devers’ power, considering he crushed a 387-foot shot beyond the right-center fence on Saturday.
