MLB Player To Hit A Home Run Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions (7/15)

MLB Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks: Friday (10/20)

HR Props were extremely kind to me during the first half of the season, and I look to keep that going with a nice 6-pack for you today.

Adolis Garcia (+270) & Josh Jung (+350)

The Cleveland Guardians are starting top prospect Gavin Williams this afternoon. Gavin Williams has pitched decently over his first four starts and has shown the potential to become the Ace of this staff shortly. But, his one issue thus far seems to be his command. He has allowed at least one walk in every game while allowing four HRs over 24.1 IP.

While Adolis Garcia has already proven he's one of the best power hitters in the game, I think he comes out of the All-Star Break with some vengeance after being eliminated in the first round of the HR Derby.

Garcia has already hit the long ball since returning to action and has another favorable matchup against RHP Gavin Williams. Only Shohei Ohtani (23) and Matt Olsen (26) have more HRs against right-handed pitching. Garcia has 20.

Josh Jung also loves to feast on right-handed pitching. All 19 of Jung's HRs have been against RHP, the second most on the Rangers roster, only behind teammate Adolis Garcia.

Gleyber Torres (+400)

Not much has gone right for the Yankees this season. One shining spot has been the play of Gleybor Torres.

The majority of Gleyber’s success is against RHP. His 10 HRs against righties are tied for the most on the Yankees roster alongside Aaron Judge and Anthony Volpe.

The Rockies will be starting RHP Connor Seabold, who has the second-highest HR/9 among today’s starters. Seabold has allowed nine home runs over his last four starts.

Sean Murphy (+380) & Ronald Acuna (+295) & Matt Olson (+195)

In 2023, one of my favorite pitchers to fade is Lance Lynn. Lynn has been atrocious for the White Sox this season. Lynn is 5-8 with a 6.03 ERA. Among qualified starting pitchers, Lance Lynn has given up 22 home runs, tied for the most in the MLB.

Among the bad season for Lynn, he has had a few bright spots, including his last start against the Blue Jays, where he went seven shutout innings while striking out 11.

Unfortunately for Lynn, he has to face the Atlanta Braves. The Braves set a new record for most home runs before the All-Star break and have hit the most HRs against righties this season.

I’m expecting a big day from the Atlanta Braves lineup this afternoon.
