MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (5/15)

10 Best MLB Playoffs Player Prop Bets for Tuesday (10/3)

We don’t get many Mondays with 12 MLB games. But with the NBA off for the night, the MLB has scheduled 12 games on the slate today.

We’ll take it.

Here are a couple of same-game parlays to consider for tonight’s slate of games.

Arizona Diamondbacks at Oakland Athletics

The Arizona Diamondbacks will take on Drew Rucinski of the Oakland Athletics. Over the last 30 days, Rucinski has had a 6.57 xFIp with 8.2% of strikeouts and 12.3% of walks. He’s been dreadful, but mostly against lefties.

Lefties have hit a .564 wOBA and ISO of .300 over their last 29 plate appearances against Rucsinki.

So I’m going to add three lefties to this parlay.

Ketel Marte is a switch-hitter but will be batting from the left side. He’s hit a .204 ISO and wOBA of .360 against his last 63 righties. Marte has also smacked over 23% of line drives in that time frame against righties.

Dominic Fletcher, another lefty, has hit a .208 ISO and wOBA of .589 in his last 27 plate appearances against righties. Fletcher has struck out just 7.4% of the time against righties in that time frame, so he’ll put the ball in play.

Finally, Corbin Carroll has been on fire against righties. Carroll has smacked a .296 ISO and wOBA of .443 while hitting 28.2% of line drives against righties in his last 65 plate appearances.

Look for Arizona’s lefties to take advantage of Rucsinki.

Parlay Odds: +408

Philadelphia Phillies at San Francisco Giants

The Philadelphia Phillies will pitch left-hander Bailey Falter. He’s got a 5.38 xFIP over the last 30 days and has only struck out 17.8% of batters in that time frame.

Falter has also allowed more line drives than ground balls earned and has given up plenty of extra-base hits.

His last 21 lefties faced have hit a .505 wOBA and ISO of .300. Meanwhile, his last 69 righties have hit a .190 ISO.

San Francisco doesn’t have the most stacked lineup against lefties, but LaMonte Wade Jr., who is also a lefty, is hitting a .294 ISO and wOBA of .394 against his last 21 lefties faced.

Meanwhile, Casey Schmitt is offensively making a name for himself, especially against lefties. In a small sample size, he’s hit 37.5% of line drives against lefties over the last 30 days.

On the flip side, Alex Wood will man the mound for the Giants. He’s struck out 25% of batters over the last 30 days and will pitch against a projected Phillies lineup that has struck out 26.3% of the time. Philadelphia has five batters striking out at least 26.7% of the time against righties over the last month. Wood will get at least four strikeouts.

Parlay Odds: +894
