MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (5/28)

Today’s MLB slate has 16 games, including a doubleheader between the Mets and Dodgers that begins this afternoon. With so many games on the slate, finding the best ones to attack can get a bit overwhelming.

Therefore, I’ve done the hard work for you. Here are my two best MLB Same Game Parlays for Tuesday, May 28’s slate of baseball games.

Washington Nationals @ Atlanta Braves MLB Same Game Parlay

Jake Irvin will take the hill for the Nationals tonight. He’s a right-handed pitcher who has allowed a .190 ISO and wOBA of .340 to his first 125 lefties this season. Even last year, Irvin gave up a .222 ISO and wOBA of .372 to 286 lefties. So, this is a common theme with him.

While the Braves haven’t been elite offensively this year, Matt Olson still stands out. He’s a lefty who has hit a .177 ISO and wOBA of .321 against righties this year. Of course, last season, Olson smashed 54 home runs for the Braves, so we know he’s got extra-base potential against righties.

Meanwhile, the Braves will be without Ronald Acuna Jr. for the rest of the season. And while his loss stings, Atlanta has added Austin Riley and Sean Murphy back into the lineup. That should make things harder for Irvin, who has earned only 19% of strikeouts throughout the season.

On the other hand, Max Fried has only struck out 20.4% of batters as a left-handed thrower. He’ll face a Nationals’ projected lineup that has only struck out 17.9% of the time against lefties this season. Ultimately, Fried has just three targets for high strikeouts tonight. Therefore, take his Under to finish out the parlay.

Toronto Blue Jays @ Chicago White Sox MLB Same Game Parlay

Mike Clevinger is getting the ball for the Chicago White Sox tonight. Clevinger is a right-handed pitcher who has allowed a .275 ISO and wOBA of .423 to his first 77 batters this season. Ultimately, Clevinger has added just 19.5% of strikeouts and has struggled against both sides of the plate, with only 35.2% of ground balls induced and 37% of fly balls allowed.

He’ll take on a Toronto lineup that hasn’t been very consistent. However, Danny Jansen has smashed a .338 ISO and wOBA of .430 against righties to begin the season. Meanwhile, Daulton Varsho, a lefty, has hit a .277 ISO and woBA of .329 against righties this year.

Davis Schneider also has above-average numbers, with a .158 ISO and wOBA of .341. We’d need him to add just one base hit, while the other two will need at least two total bases.

Ultimately, Toronto’s offense should come around against Clevinger, who has been awful all-around to begin his season.
