MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions (8/31)

Braves vs. Nationals MLB Player Prop Bet Picks: Sunday (4/2)

If you stayed up late, you watched a +782 same-game parlay hit in the Giants vs. Padres game last night! As I always say, we’re looking to hit one Same-Game Parlay of the three. If you can do that, you’ll earn a profit.

That’s what we did last night, and that’s what we’ll be looking to do today!

Colorado Rockies vs. Atlanta Braves

  • Leg 1: Kyle Wright Over 5.5 K’s (+104)
  • Leg 2: Michael Harris 1+ Hit (-220)
  • Leg 3: Travis d’Arnaud 2+ Total Bases (+110)

Could the Braves be falling apart? I don’t think so. The Braves lost to the Rockies with Max Fried on the mound as heavy favorites last night. But I still like them to rebound tonight.

Kyle Wright has a 3.47 xFIP in the last 30 days, and now he’ll be taking the mound to face a Rockies lineup with a .122 ISO and wOBA of .305 against righties in the last 30 days.

The Rockies have struck out nearly 20% of the time in the last 30 days against righties and could end up slotting in a couple of minor league players for tonight’s game. Wright has struck out 24.5% of batters in the last 30 days and should ultimately pitch a long outing tonight.

On the other hand, Ryan Feltner will get the call for the Rockies. He has a 5.76 xFIP with low strikeouts and high walks. He’s also given up plenty of hard contact and hasn’t limited line drives much.

Michael Harris II is hitting an ISO of .250 with a wOBA of .402 in the last 30 days against righties, while Travis d’Arnaud is hitting a .262 ISO with a wOBA of .420.

The two hottest hitters on the Braves should come through tonight against Feltner and the Rockies.

Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins

  • Leg 1: Luis Arraez 2+ Total Bases (+110)
  • Leg 2: Max Kepler 1+ Total Hit (-180)
  • Leg 3: Joe Ryan Over 5.5 K’s (-136)

Michael Wacha is having a terrific season for the Boston Red Sox. However, against lefties, Wacha has allowed a .182 ISO in his last 24 plate appearances.

Meanwhile, the Twins lineup hasn’t been all that great against righties. Luis Arraez and Max Kepler have done some good things against righties, despite not seeing great results. Arraez has hit 27.7% of line drives against righties in his last 71 plate appearances while only striking out 2.8% of the time.

On the other hand, Max Kepler has struck out 13.6% of the time against righties and has a BABIP of just .200, proving he’s been a bit unlucky when he puts the ball in play. Those two lefties could have some extra-base success tonight.

Plus, Joe Ryan will take the hill for the Twins. Ryan has struck out nearly 29% of batters in the last month of baseball. He’ll pitch against a Red Sox lineup with four batters striking out at least 25% of the time against righties in the last 30 days.

Back the Twins in this same-game parlay.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

  • Leg 1: Alec Bohm 2+ Total Bases (-125)
  • Leg 2: Rhys Hoskins 2+ Total Bases (-110)
  • Leg 3: J.T. Realmuto 2+ Total Bases (+100)

The Diamondbacks will send out lefty Tommy Henry for tonight’s game. Henry has struggled recently, holding a 6.07 xFIP in the last 30 days. The left-hander has struck out 16.4% of batters faced while walking 10.3% of batters faced in the last 30 days.

Righties are currently hitting a .174 ISO against Henry in their last 100 plate appearances against him. Those righties have done a better job limiting ground balls and hitting more line drives.

There are three righties in the Philadelphia lineup that have hit consistently against lefties. Those righties include Rhys Hoskins, Alec Bohm, and J.T. Realmuto.

Hoskins is hitting a .421 ISO with a wOBA of .507 against lefties in the last 30 days, while Bohm has a .250 ISO with a .459 wOBA.

Lastly, Realmuto has a .389 ISO with a wOBA of .453 in his last 20 plate appearances against lefties.

Look for these three righties to hit Henry off the mound.
